Why does my IOS7 update after downloading say " not available at this time try again later" any ideas?
With everyone and their iDogs trying to update at the same time, things are gonna be a bit bumpy off the bat trying to update and/or activate.
All anyone can really recommend is to keep trying or wait until a bit later, after the hubub has died down.

I have been trying to install the ios7 on my 4s for over 5 hours now (uk time) with still no luck, however my husband with an iphone 5 was done in a matter of minutes! im finding this really frustrating, is this just a case keep trying? cos im really losing patience :(

Everytime I try to facetime my brother (we both have ipod touches) facetime always says, "user not available for facetime" but they are! i see that a lot of people are having this same problem, but people are giving answers to others and I try all of the answers, but none of them are working for me! What does the message mean( unable to launch app at this time Done. Retry ) .
The only other thing I can think of since this problem has to do with downloading on 3G is that the signal strength isn't good enough. Try a reset on the device, hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and release. Once the phone restarts see if you can get it done. If not, you might want to check with iTunes support and see if they see anything wrong with your account.
Have you tried downloading on wifi? Does this work? Have you checked in iTunes for available downloads to try and get what you have cleared to start over? -

it will be available later, right now a lot of people are expereincign this issue because of the large amount of traffic that is hitting apple;s download servers

My iPhone 4S has downloaded the new update for the Is07 update but when it comes to installing it I click the agree thing and then it says verifying update and an error pops up some time later saying update software is unavailable at this time try again later is anyone else having this issue???
I imagine a ton of people are attempting to download it right now. Simple patience, maybe keep trying, and if possible, try a little later. Think of it as all those people lining up at Apple Stores + about a million more.

If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:

You should try again later, the servers are getting slammed. Bunch of people trying to download at the same time.

There lies the possible root of the problem. Make sure you keep enough available space for the ipad to update and function properly. -

Trouble updating to iOS 5 on my wife's iPhone 4 connected to our iM, right before download finishes downloading iTunes comes back with the error message Software corrupted during download. Please check network settings and try again later, however there was no problem updating my iPhone to iOS 5 through iTunes connceted to my dell laptop on the same wireless network. What gives?
Try disabling your firewall; both on your PC and the external Firewall/Router.

Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.

Software update not available at this time
When installing my iOS 7 it says that the update is not available at this time. I have it fully downloaded and I just press install and it gives me this error. Any ideas?
The error is not a failure to download. Once downloaded, you hit the "Install" button, agree to the terms and conditions, and the phone begins verifying the update. After about a minute or two of attemting to verify, this error comes up:
"Software Update Unavailable: Software Update is not available at this time. Try again later."
That's my experience at least.
