HT1229 I have attempted to transfer my iphoto cashe but I get an error code 36 ? please
As stated I attempted to follow the guidance in regards to transferring my pictures to an external drive but I keep getting an " error code 36 "
message.
I have lots of GoPro footage in my iphoto library, could this be a problem ?

The 36 error is an i/o error. It can be caused by (even) one damaged or locked file.
The easiest way around it: use a back up app that makes a straight copy of the Library - Chronosync for instance - to make the copy for you.

Take a look at iTunes for Windows: "Error 7" message when opening iTunes. Perhaps your .NET Framework needs a repair.
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes several times, but keep getting an error message that "the registry settings for importing and burning CD's and DVD's is missing". Can anyone help with this?
It keeps telling me to reinstall iTunes, but it continues to come back with the same error message.

I'm not certain thats the problem. I stopped antivirus, I set screensaver to NOT trigger and yet it took me FOUR DAYS to completely sync my ipod touch. Stupid me decided to try it with the iPad and guess what...it's been three days and STILL timing out.

Apple gives an error signal saying that I need to be an adminstrator to make changes to all the users...there is only one adminstrator account and one guest account.
It reads that I don't have enough adminstrative privileges for every account to download the program

Generate the error message again. While the error message box is open, hold down the Alt key and hit the PrtSc key. Paste the screenshot into an image file (using a program like Paint), and save the file.
Start a reply here and click the wee camera icon at the top of the reply window. Click "Choose file", browse to the image file, select the file and click "Open". Now click "Insert file" to insert the screenshot into the reply. -
Each time I try to sync I get the same error message. Each time I authorize my computer. And each time I get a reply that my computer is already authorized. I cannot get this to sync.Any ideas?

hi I cant activate my ipad, I have restored it through iTunes 5 times but keep getting a error that says cant connect to server. Laptop is connected to pocket wifi but I cant get passed that screen on my ipad. Im not real computer literate but would appreciate any help.

I am using windows 7 with all updates installes. I have Adobe Standard X and after install it will get an error code 6 and stop working. I reinstalkkl and it will work for a day.

We are using windows 7 64-bit. Here is a screen shot of the error that we are getting. It is just this computer.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Adobe several times and it will work for the day and then get the error the next day.
I have the power options to never turn off hard disk and never sleep. Any help would be great.

every time I try to open itunes I get a message saying "runtime error. An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. I have already un- and re-installed it, but i get the same message as before. How do i fix this? I don't want to lose my music and would at least want to save that.

Sounds like an issue with the iPhoto Library
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

I just downloaded an iphoto update and when I tried to share my photos was asked for email and password. I must have typed in the info wrong because I keep getting an error message. I don't see how to change the info to the correct mistake..
I too added 2nd apple ID when I tried to get Free app from apple store just to get to NONE on the credit card needed. It said it sent confirmation email to my new apple ID email that I have to confirm. Problem is I can not get to the new apple ID email account. On my ipad it logs into my original email account and I see no where to log into another email account. If I go to my laptop, the new apple ID I created does not let me log into email where apple said it was sent to. It did not send to back up email account either.
Can I log into 2 email accounts on my ipad where it says mail at bottom?

What version of iPhoto? Assuming 09 or later...

If that fails:
Option 2

It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
