HT1245 I had a bunch of emails i sync'd up from google on to my mac

I had a bunch of email contacts in my google account i recently added from excel. after i did that i got this message on the MAC aking to sync them. At first i did not want to but it keep showing up every half hour and was very annoying. so i did it anyway. But now i have all theo hundreds of emails on my iphone and dont need them there. it takes for every to find my real phone numbers for my friends. how do i get all those from google off my iphone?

Do you have an email address? I should be able to do it for you.
Just follow these instructions:
First, make sure your iPod is in disk mode. If you're not sure that it is, connect your iPod, and open the iPod Options pane (Edit > Preferences > iPod tab). Make sure that the enable disk mode option is checked. Now, if you did this correctly, you should find your iPod as a removable drive on your computer. Go to Start > My Computer, and double click on the "J:" drive. Open the Photos folder. Open the Thumbs folder. Send all the files that end in .ithmb to me at [email protected]

You cannot delete them but eventually they will just go away or if do a hard shutdown On you iPhone they will go away.

Did you even TRY safe mode, you do have lots of addons there and they automatically update in the background.

Your AV must of had been so perfect it didn't even care to detect Yontoo which is considered as adware/spyware.

I have had to change my email address/Apple ID. my iPad recognisIes the change of id but on my MacBook Air, iCloud just keeps asking me for a password for the old email address/account. How can I get iCloud to recognise the new details? Help please!

My iPad recognises the new detail in iTunes and iCloud but when I go into iCloud through my MacBook Air, it requests a password for the old email account which I can no longer use. Go to System Preferences and click Sign Out, select Delete at all the prompts, then sign back in with the changed ID? (Your iCloud data will disappear from your Mac when you sign out and choose Delete, but will still be in iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account your data will reappear on your Mac when you sign back in.)

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that you updated your Apple Id and password but now you are being prompted for the old information in iCloud. You are on the right track by changing the Apple ID back to the previous email address temporarily so that you can sign out. You should not need to verify the email address. After you edit the Apple ID back to the old email address and then sign out of iCloud on your iPhone, edit the Apple ID back to the address you would currently like to use. There is no need to change the password again, only the email address, unless you prefer to update the password again.
If you're asked for the password to your previous Apple ID when signing out of iCloud - Apple Support
Change your Apple ID temporarily
If signing out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime didn't help, try these steps:
Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
Tap Settings > iCloud. Complete these steps only if the Find My [Device] setting is turned on:
Scroll down and tap Sign Out, then tap Sign Out to confirm. If you're using iOS 7 or earlier, tap Delete Account, then tap Delete to confirm.
Tap Keep on My [Device] or Delete from My [Device]. In either case, your data remains in iCloud and will be updated on your device when you sign in to iCloud again.
Enter the password for your previous Apple ID.
Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
Return to Settings > iCloud and sign in with your new Apple ID.

I have an old iPod Touch with old software that can no longer be updated:
iOS version 6.1.6
I've been searching for a solution to my iMessage login problem for months and tried everything from those frustrating links and all the tips from other users.
Here is what finally worked:
1) Settings > Privacy > Location Services > On
2) Settings > General > Date & Time > Set Automatically > On
3) Reboot device until Apple logo appears
4) Settings > Messages > Sign In

How do you delete a whole bunch of emails at one time or do you have to individually 'touch' each one in the editor and delete page by page

I can't see how a "delete all" function would be useful -- how often does one delete all messages in a folder? If that did exist can you imagine the users who'd accidentally clear out their entire Inbox by mistake?

YOU can't fix it. But you can bring it in to Apple for an out of warranty replacement for $199.

If the backup is corrupt, there is nothing that can be done.
For what reason did you choose to not copy the pictures off the device to a computer prior to attemping an update or whatever caused the need to restore? iPhones are not intended as sole storage of any media.

Problem sending photos by Email. Received a response from T. Devlin. Did not solve problem. I had already done what he suggested.

I had already entered my Email info under preferences.
The screen comes up with the photos I want to send.
I type my message and hit Send. The blue bar appears "Sending".
However, don't know where the photos go, they don't reach destination.
I tried sending to myself at another Email address - they didn't arrive, and they are not shown under Sent Emails either.
How to resolve?
Tried to respond to T. Devlin - but that didn't happen either. Just a Like symbol was there (as in Facebook).

If you are using Yosemite and have enabled up two-step verification for iCloud? Then you may need to create an application specific password for iPhoto. Open Mail preferences and delete the account. This only removes it from the Mail app and doesn't close out the service.

Open Contacts and create a Group with the recipients by drag and drop i each into the group...and of course give the group a name to use as the addressee.
