iCloud email supports 'plus' addressing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Email_address#Address_tags
So your friend could just add '+research' to the username part of your email address, and you setup a rule at icloud.com to put all emails sent to that address into a particular folder.
For example:

There's no way to do it without rules on the server though. -

Does having Outlook 2007 mean you are syncing your iPhone Contacts with Outlook 2007 and the contacts were lost there as well?
If so and if your routine computer backup includes your Outlook data, restore your Outlook contacts from your Outlook data backup. -
i was trying to change from my iphone 4 to my new iphone 5, and i backed up my contacts onto iclould, when i restored my iphone 5 on my computer, the contacts were wiped from both devices, how do i recover the contacts?
On the iPhone tap Settings > iCloud
Make sure Contacts is switched ON. It may take a few minutes for the data to sync via Wi-Fi.
If you are using iCloud, there's no need to connect your iPhone to a computer via iTunes to sync your contacts. -

Synch your contacts back from whichever program on your computer you've stored them in (Outlook, Address Book) or from your cloud service.

i was on windows 7 and i had to format my computer i put windows vista on and when i downloaded itunes and sync my iphone i lost all my photos music and apps that was on my phone,my itunes account says i have got to accounts on two computers?? is there anyway i can get anything back? please help me. i have tried restore to back up but it is the same????
If they really meant that much to you, they would have been copied off to a computer at the earliest possible opportunity.
I personally find it amazing that people get so upset when pictures "accidentally" get deleted and then scream about how important they are. You wouldn't leave important paper work lying around to be lost/damaged/stolen, so why take a chance with important pictures on a device that can so easily be lost/damaged/stolen, or deleted by a child. -

You're welcome. Some carriers allow customers to download copies of voicemails from your cellular account on their website. You could contacts yours to see if this is possible. If not, you would have to use 3rd party software to copy it from the phone to your computer, such as Touch Copy (pc or mac) or PhoneView (mac only).

If that won't work, perhaps you can use Find my iPhone from a computer in your iCloud.com account to erase the device.

This has nothing to do with the Find my iPhone app being installed on the phone, but you do have to have Find my iPhone activated in the iCloud settings on the phone. -
Hey Guys,
I need some advice. I had about 9000 pitures and photos in my camera roll folder.
I wanted to manage all these pictures into separate folders for easier access.
I imported all the pictures onto my pc, and created and managed the pics.
I synced the phone and excluded the photos,as advised on the site.
The I disconnected the phone, connected again and included the pictures.
On the coclour tab it indicates that all the pictures are there, after syncing,
but on my phone, nothing appears.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there another way of importing my pictures
onto the phone and keeping the separate folders?
Thanks,If you don't find an iTunes backup as suggested above, another possibility is that the phone was setup to automatically back up to iCloud. You can go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Manage Storage to see if your device name is listed there. If it is, the section titled "How do I restore an iCloud Backup if my device is already set up for use?" in the following link gives directions on how to resore it: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4036
Also, I'm sorry to hear you lost 5 years of pictures. Having them in one place (as you unfortunately found out) is not a good idea as all kinds of things can happen including loss of the phone. If you have a computer it is a good idea to periodically import them to the computer where you can see that they have successfully transferred to a second location. So as i stated I reinstalled Windows 7 on my PC, wiping the harddrive in the process. I didn't copy my music files to a third device because I assumed I would be able to retrieve all my songs from my iPhone 4 when I resynced the devices. Unfortunately only my iTunes-purchased songs went back to my desktop. This leaves about 1400 songs that I ripped from CDs on my phone and I can't see how to get those songs from my iPhone to my desktop again. I would really like to not have to waste a day ripping CDs again. Can anyone help?
You need to restore them from the backup that you should have of your computer that you made before reinstalling Windows 7. The iPhone is not a backup device.

My computer was reformatted and after I installed iTunes and synced with my iPhone 4S, the playlist only shows on my iPhone and not on my computer in iTunes.
Any suggestions as to how I can get it back on my computer?I've been experiencing the same problems, until my friend told me to manage my songs and albums manually instead of syncing it. to do that, connect your phone to the macbook via usb and go to 'songs', and scroll down. check the box that says 'manually manage songs and albums', and from there all you do is drag-and-drop your playlists into your iphone under the 'device' tabs. as for the random songs, uncheck the box that says 'automatically fill free space with songs'. hope this helps!

Hello, I want just load some data from database and show it in a javafx chart. Since it's not possible to instantiate a javafx app and pass some values like a dataset, it must be possible to bind the data. An example would be great!
