Thanks for this post. It corrected my similar issue. Note that you need to exit from/re-enter iTunes after deleting the song from your Purchased list.

PS - I added an iphone5 which is whay these upgrades happened so this synching to the ipod error is since the iphone began synching.

I just learn in some post that the most common lapses in syncing is not checking if "sync music" in music section of the ipod is ticked. So double check if it is. Cheers!

Since I upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7 purshased songs with I tunes will not play the whole song on my computer Itunes library or when transferred to my Ipod. I have tried everything and still no luck. Any help?

What can I do if iTunes did not download the song completely but thinks it did?

I have no clue what happened, but I bought an album off iTunes and it said the download was complete, but when I try to play the songs, they cut off midstream and it won't let me re-download them. Not every song cuts off, only a select few do, but it also won't let me convert them to AAC version files.

I figured out a solution. It's a really long process, but if you want the music you paid for, it's worth it.
1. you have to delete the songs that don't play all the way through off you computer.
2. go to purchases under the store category on your side bar.
3. at the bottom right hand corner there is a thing that says download previous purchases, click on that
4. click all songs or just find the ones that didn't download correctly by artist.
5. when you find the song, if and only if you already deleted the song, it will have an arrow on the right hand side. That is what you will press in order for the song to begin redownloading. I would suggest only downloading one song at a time.
6. after the download is complete listen to the song to make sure it plays all the way through this time.
This worked for me, but ONLY if you delete the songs first. otherwise it will not let you redownload them.

My last two itune puchased have failed to download the song in it's entirety.
Somehow it allowed me to re-download the first one but not the second. What do i do?

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the corrupt tracks from your iTunes library, close and then reopen iTunes, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unchecked.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the "Report a problem" links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

I used my iTunes back ups to install songs on my new computer. Several of the songs are now incomplete(not playing the whole song). There were fine on my old computer. Whats wrong?

I recently got a new computer. I used my iTunes back up CD's after installing iTunes on my new computer. Now several(14 so far...I am going through my whole library) songs are not playing completely. They stop mid-song and go to the next song. They played fine on my previous computer. Help!

Itunes does not download all purchased songs from the Itunes Store

A few weeks ago, I purchased the latest CD of Lionel Richie from the Itunes Store, but only 4 songs were downloaded. Now every time I try to download the rest CD by either checking for purchases in the Itunes menu or trying to buy the CD again, it tells me the Itunes Store is temporarily unavailable...
Anyone knows how to solve this??

I had a similar problem with a Jimmy Buffett album,I sent the iTunes store an e-mail described the problem including the album title and receipt number and within 24 hours they responded and had done a "reset" and problem solved.

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting that track from your iTunes library and redownload it via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if it re-downloads in the same state then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

im am trying to restore my iphone after it got locked for some dumb reson(locked = needs activation for no f**king reson).
when i press the restor button in itunes i get a message "There was a problem downloading the software for the iPhone "My iPhone". The requested resource whas not found."

Did not download the full song

I only got 2 sec of my song that I payed to download, I went to my purchases to try to re-download the song and it will not let me do it. HELP

If you went to the iTunes Store Purchased screen, and it says "Downloaded" next to the song, that means iTunes thinks the song is already in your iTunes library.
What you need to do first is delete the song from your iTunes library. Go to your iTunes Music library listing in iTunes. Find the song, select it on the list, and press Delete on the keyboard. Choose the option to move the song file to the Trash.
When you go back to the Purchased screen, where it said "Downloded" before, there should now be a "cloud" button. Click that button to download the song again.

Itunes will not import the full song

my computer crashed a few months ago and ever since then i cant import CDS onto iTunes...the full song. It will download the first 10-14 seconds then quit and move on to the next song.
I got really annoyed with that so i thought that i could import them from Windows Media, but then it said i didnt have some license or something.
Anyone have a solution?

ITunes failed to download the entire song I purchases. Help!

I just downloaded some songs but only about half of them downloaded... I don't know how to fix it. Does anyone know?

This is really a bug, that Apple is trying to solve. You're probably converting it to .mp3. The only thing you could do, is first rip your CD to .aiff and then convert those songs to .mp3 or whatever you like.
