HT1267 my phone was fully charge and by it self turn-off and cant turn it on
I had my phone on my pocket and when I got it to make a call, it was off. I cant turn it back on
Connect iPhone to Wall Charger and Reset, hold both Home and Power buttons until the iPhone begins to start. Usually takes up to 20 seconds of holding both buttons.

Hi there,
I would recommend taking a look at the troubleshooting steps for unexpected power off issues found in the article below.
iPhone: Hardware troubleshooting
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.

While talking on the phone this morning, it was fully charged, the screen went blank and I could no longer use the phone. I tried turing it off and then on, but it still ghad a blank screen. I even tried charging the phone, but it still has a blank screen.
I am sorry to hear about your phone.
You could try connecting it to your laptop and see if itune recognises the phone.
If it does then make a backup of your phone.
You could then restore it and see if it helps.
It shouldn't be much of a problem if its a software issue but if something went wrong with the hardware then you might have to go to an Apple store.
Hope this helps -

Well the blinking light shows it's charging, however just to make sure.
Reset the SMC, then connect the machine to a power source that doesn't have a lot of other power items on the same lines (in the walls) in the same room and see how it is in the morning.
For instance use a powerline in another spare room that isn't being used as much.

i was using my ipod touch and it was fully charged and it shut off on me and when i go to charge it all it shows is the apple sign
Try the remaining items of:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My iphone turned off after I got off the phone today. It was more than half way charged and it went totally black. I plugged it into my wall charger and my computer, but nothing has showed up. It doesn't register on the computer either, the charge symbol doesn't appear, and there is no apple logo to be found. I have no idea what happened! It was totally fine before. I tried charging another ipod with my usb and wall charger to make sure that they were still working, and they weren't the problem. What happened? Is the phone dead for good? I have a 3G if that changes anything. THANKS!
Press and hold both the on/off button and the home button and release them both when the apple logo appears. That will reboot the phone. try that.

My iphone suddenly went blank and wont turn on....what can i do
Message was edited by: Kathleen28I would first try to reset the PRAM.
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3964
Then try booting into Safe Mode
(Hold shift upon powering the unit on and wait. A loading bar will appear under the Apple Logo. This may take awhile.) -
so i had a full battery on my iphone and it just shut off and now it will not turn on it has no water damage nothing
Restart iPhone: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for phone to restart (no data will be lost).

I dont really know how to work this conversation thing but I need an answer to the question above!
If the lock button is broken you are out of luck. Your phone is doomed. You can try connecting it to iTunes on your computer. If it is recognized by iTunes you can restore it. If not you need a new phone.

Now it won't connect to Wi-Fi and often when I shut it down it shows alit screen for five minutes before it finally shuts down, also my photo album sometimes randomly dissapears and everything is sometimes really slow. WHAT DO I DO????
If the iPod is dry then the iPod is permenently damaged.
Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. They do not fix yours.
