when i rip i cd i cant sync it to my iphone4s or any songs unless i purchased them. these are not burned cds i pay for all my music.
What is it saying when you try to import them to your library?

TS2313 why can I play a podcast but cant download it?
I use an external hard drive for my library that itunes acceses directly; the itunes media folder location points to the external drive. Recently I was downloading several podcasts when the USB cable came disconnected and created problems. Shut off itunes, reconnected the cable, restarted itunes and now the podcast episodes that were being downloaded can no longer be downloaded. I can right-click on the episodes to stream them, but they cannot be downloaded. The files are not downloaded into the media folder nor does searching for them find them on the computer. There's the ! sign on each episode, itunes wont tell me whats wrong, just !.
Any clues?What is it saying when you try to import them to your library?

Why can I sync a movie but not TV shows on my nano (7th gen)?
I am using iTunes 11.0 and can sync a movie (Miracle on 34th Street) to my new ipod nano 7th gen but when I try a TV Show (a Planet Earth HD episode) or even a brief video clip taken with my camara I am told that such an action is not permitted on this ipod. So why can I sync a movie but not TV shows on my nano (7th gen)? Thank you.
Before you can sync video files, it must be converted into a format compatible with ipod. If you can’t sync a video convert it by doing the following:
In iTunes, select the video you want to convert. Do one of the following then sync again after:
1) Choose File > Create New Version > Create iPod or iPhone Version.
2) Choose File > Create New Version > Create iPad or Apple TV Version.

Have you checked the recycle bin? can you recover from card? No 2nd copy/backup? (shame on you).

Thanks for the response. Must be smart phones. My daughter has a dumb phone and she can send out. I tried deleting my text messages on the Verizon website, but they won’t delete. It must be on their end. Chat line was busy forever, until they shut it down.

When i try to send an sms text ..i get a 'not delivered' message...no error code...imessage works fine...Very strange, [email protected] Let's get this figured out. Make sure that SMS messages are turned on. Go to Settings>Messages>Send as SMS. Please let me know if this works.

Do you mean that your phone doesn't ring? Or that callers get voicemail immediately?
If the calls are going straight to voicemail, and your phone never rings, I'd suggest calling your carrier and have them check your account. -

We don't know how to answer because we don't know what you are doing.
I can tell you that you cannot connect the two devices together to transfer content. And videos do not work in Photo Stream, but it does work for photos. However, you can only stream photos to the device after you have enabled photo stream on the iPad. Any photos that were already on the phone - before you turned on Photo Stream -will not sync to the iPad.

Not sure why you are in the itunes forum.
Your issue is with your MP3 player. Go to their support page.
Itunes syncs with Apple devices. It has little or nothing to do with other players.
Does your MP3 player support the file type of the song that your downloaded? -

In Safari, (I use Firefox only) cookies must be enabled. I never knew there was a connection between iTunes and Safari until now. -
