Hello,
Can anyone give me some instructions on how to sync my college email, which ends with .edu on my Macbook running Snow Leopard (OSX 10.6.8) using the Mail application and on my Iphone 4S running IOS 6.01?

If your mail account ending in .edu is a POP mail account, messages will download to each device, unless you just view them with a web browser via the internet, so that all messages stay on the server.
If you want to sync devices and mail, you need to have an IMAP account.

You can't. You need a computer of some sort to sync any of those devices to iTunes.

You need OSX 10.7.2 or higher in order to access icloud. The mobile me account is now defunct (it closed down more than a year ago).

You will need to find a third party solution for online storage in order to share things like photos with others. Some popular solutions to this are dropbox and sugarsync.
You cannot sync non-iCloud email accounts across your iOS devices and computers unless they are IMAP accounts like iCloud. If they are IMAP accounts, you will do it in the same way as you have always done.

In the source list click devices (so far so good) then click the entry for your iphone or ipod. that doesn't exist. HELP asap
You don't import photos from the iPhone to your computer using iTunes.

Note this only applies to photos taken with the iPhone. Any photos you previously added to your iPhone using iTunes should be copied from old computer to new computer.

I would like to know how to sync all my email across all my Apple devices (ipone 4s,new iPad and MacBook Pro)
I have various emails for personal and business and it's a little frustrating having to keep going through all my email accounts on all my devices and removing emails I have already read. There has to be some solution?
Unfortunately some the emails accounts that I have are on pop and not exchange servers.
Help would be appreciated.

well I just opened my mail in iphone and went to the trash
clicked on edit
and scrolled way down to the very bottom
it says delete and by golly it deleted ALL of them

If it's an Audiobook, then it's probably in the Audiobook section of your iPhone. Have you set your iTunes to Sync Audiobooks with your iPhone?
Alternatively, if the Audiobook was imported into your iTunes Library as as Music, then it's going to be in the Music section of your iPhone. If so, then it will be in the Music section of your iTunes Library. To move it to the Audiobooks section, select it in the Library and choose File/Get Info/Options>Media Kind where you can change it.
You can change it to a Podcast, but since something is only a Podcast if it is delivered to your iTunes as a Podcast download (which is a process for delivering files without you having to go and find them), then your audiobook is not a Podcast and you may forget (in the future) how you obtained the book in the first place

You are going to need to go to: FORGOT APPLE ID to retrieve your iCloud/Apple ID. Once you know your ID, you can log onto Apple - My Apple ID and click on Reset Password to answer the Security Questions you will need to answer. If you don't remember the answers, you will have to contact Apple Support to have them reset: ACCOUNT SECURITY CONTACT NUMBERS

How do I sync non iTunes content to my iOS devices with Mavericks

For the last three days I have been pulling my hair out wondering why I can't sync Movies or TV Shows to my iPad using either the USB cable or WiFi in iTunes since installing Mavericks.
the only way I have succeed at all is to redownload items already purchased from iTunes directly to my iPad.
I spent this morning browsing the Apple Support Communities and seemimgly from many official Apple replies to people who have asked similar questions I am slowly finding/realising that the following might actually be true:

Music, TV Show and Movie content in my iTunes that I want to be synced to my iOS devices can now only be synced from iTunes in the Cloud ?
So what about all the content in my iTunes that wasn't purchsed from iTunes (My TV shows that I recorded on Elegato's Eye TV or Movies I converted from my DVDs to MP4 format or Music that I made myself in Logic) ?
How do I sync any of my that content to my iPad or iPhone from iTunes in Mavericks ?
Is that REALLY no longer posible or have I misunderstood or missed something rather obvious ?

You won't be able to change the address until you can answer 2 of your questions - you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down the page that you posted from to update your rescue email address for potential future use
