If you can receive mail and your connection to your ISP is otherwise working, but cannot send mail, then your SMTP settings are incorrect; the SMTP server port is wrong, your SSL setting is wrong, or the username or password credentials don't match what the ISP has, or your attempted accesses are being blocked or your ISP SMTP server is offline.
And in general, don't use port 25 for your outbound mail, unless your ISP specifically requires that; these days, that port is best left to communications between mail servers and (usually) not used by any mail clients.

I cannot sync my iPod with the Playlists that I want. For example, I have all the songs in my Classical Playlist checked, but after syncing it does not appear on my iPod. Also, there are no opportunities to change syncing options. None are listed in the left column of my iTunes screen.

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with syncing music to your iPod. For issues like this, I recommend resyncing the music to your iPod.
If you are syncing automatically, resync content to the iPod by unchecking "Sync Music" and clicking "Apply," then checking "Sync Music" and clicking "Apply" again.

You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them. -
With Yahoo Mail, and anotare account (Inacap Mail), I can only receive mails but I can't send emails. I don't know if this is a problem of the iPad or it is a problem with yahoo mail, because using Gmail and the email of my job I don' have this problem.
Google them to confirm the settings that you need for the outgoing server, then check the setting you entered on the pad. Pay real close attention to the outgoing server name, and port. You may need to change in on the pad.

Could you be experiencing, browsing a page, then get sent to the app store to buy an app? If that's the case, it's a browser hijack ad and there's not much you can do about it beyond not going to that site or using an adblock app.
You can try to go into safari and clear the cache, which may clear away what's sending you to that site
Beyond that, a bit more info may help with coming up with a better answer. -

I have a strong desire to use the native apps on my Mac for mail and calendar - but my new position is using Gmail.
I can send mail and calendar works fine - but I can not send mail. I have followed all the directions and still can't see to get it to work.
Is there a step I am missing? Has anyone else successfully tackled this issue?

There is no 'issue', millions of people use Gmail with a Mac, they send mail so the 'issue' is with your machine so we'll concentrate on that. Post the SMTP settings that are in use for this account, post the authentication method as well, tell me whether you have activated Google's '2 Factor' authentication method if you have. -
I just purchased an ipad2 and I can receive e-mails but I can't reply to or forward them. I also can't send a new e-mail. Contact whoever manages your email server and ask them what ports and security to use for SMTP from remote locations. ISPs and email admins often require different SMTP settings when sending email when not connected to the server's or ISP's network.

Help please!!! I have been having trouble trying to set up a corp exchange email for someone on his Droid Ultra, the domain\username is correct the server name is correct, but I still cant connect. Is there something I'm missing. I am a novice to Droid phones.
Usually they ask for your credit card security code (the 3 or 4-digit code on the back or front of your card). Can you check the wording carefully and see if that's what they're asking for? Try putting it in and see what happens.

wright you are! I keep wishing that iT would put them on the main menu - rather than a sub or sub-sub-menu, but there are probably few iT users such as myself that frequently switch between stereo & mono.
does anyone know of a script to automatically change from stereo to mono and back? I guess it's just as easy to go into a sub-menu than run a script...
incidentally, the apple help menus have not changed yet with the new version, every thing I found kept telling me to look in "advanced" rather than general.
