I have a new computer and it is not authorized on my phone to let me do anything with it. I cannot use my old computer because it is just so bug/virus infested. In summary on iTunes for my phone I always have "Manually manage music and videos" checked off, but I cannot do so because of the new computer. I want to transer all my media files to my iTunes or my PC so I can check off "Manually manage music and videos" AND I JUST CAN'T SEEM TO FIGURE IT OUT! SOMEONE! ANYONE! PLEASE HELP ME! GOD BLESS YOU WHEN YOU COME TO MY AID!

Furthe question to this one: Don't want to synch, simply want to transfer new music in iTunes to my iPhone. Reason I don't want to synch, I burned some of my CDs in iTunes (i.e., didn't buy them through iTunes which iTunes/Apple doesn't seem to like at all) so don't want to lose everything I burned which is what synching appears to do. If it is just the music you are after, then steps 2 & 3 have you covered. If you no longer have access to the computer you used to sync with then you may want all the information...
iTunes is designed to sync devices to a single library. When you try to switch libraries you may lose some or all of the information curently stored on the device. To prevent this you should be able to:
Backup the device to a new installation
Transfer your purchases into an authorized library
Recover any other media using third party tools as suggested in this post from forum regular Zevoneer
Restore the device from the backup
This process should switch the association of the device to the new library, preserving the data and settings in your apps.
May also be prudent to attempt a backup to iCloud directly from the device before you start... Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > iCloud Backup > On. It won't save any media but it would preserve the general account settings and documents in case anything goes wrong while you are trying to extract your other data.
When you get it all fixed, make a backup!

Unless purchased from iTunes, all the music on your iPhone should have come from an iTunes sync. You can only sync with one itunes library. If you syncing with a new iTunes library you will lose all your non-iTune purchases.

You need to Either get 3rd party software or do it this way
You need to be able to view hidden files on your computer , you need to go to the control panel and find folder options. (i believe that you could change the settings on in the windows explorer by clicking view at the top menu bar. you need to click it so that you can see the hidden files. (i think this explains simply what i said Tools -> Folder Options -> View, and then check (enable) the option “Show hidden files and folders.”)
Next find your ipod now if you have enabled hidden files you need to click on your ipod and find a folder called ipod control. the folder itself will look different maybe a bit transparent because it is hidden. Next you will go in and if you explore further you will see loads of files (transparent like ipod control) with things like F34 F01 (or F1) etc.
They are the files with your music on it and if you click on them, they will show music files but they wont have names. they are encrypted with file names like AKLY (basically four letters or 3 letters put together in capitals) so to get the names and other suff back simply drag the music files into itunes or import them individually (the folders) into itunes by clicking file, import into itunes and by folder.
Then once you have done this the names should be correct in Itunes.
Alternitavely you can drag all the files in 'ipod control' into an external Hard Drive if you go into itunes prefrences you can let itunes put all your music on your computer into organized files of album names.

You cannot do that. All you can transfer is the music you purchased in iTunes. To do that, plug your iPhone into iTunes, and choose File > Device > Transfer Purchases from the iTunes menu.
The rest of your music will have to come either from your old computer's backup or the original sources (e.g., CDs) that were used to supply iTunes on the old machine.
