I loaded the new iTunes (11.0.0.163) on my computer and also just purchased a new iPhone 5. Prior to loading the NEW iTunes, I was able to sync with my new iPhone 5. After I loaded the new iTunes, I now get an error message: 0xE8000084. What's up?

The new Itunes software update is flawed! I had the same issue. You need to uninstall Apple components, then reinstall. Go to this link for instructions. Takes about 20 mins but works!

Itunes 10.6.3 - Just update to the new Itunes and the album artwork is not sticking anymore... I upload the artwork and when I change songs and go back the art is gone. Anyone with similar issue ?
I have this issue. Album artwork was totally fine before. After this update, it is all messed up and even got messed up when transferred to my iphone.
iTunes doesn't have the artwork anymore, but then iPhone has it but shows wrong artwork with wrong albums.

I'm so confused. I've been all over the support site and I've uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes at least 3 times. My iPod just has the sign it has when it's turning on, but nothing else is happening. All I was trying to do was download the new software, and now it's completely crashed. Does anyone know why???? - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on anoterh computer to help determine if you have an iPod or computer problem.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

This happened because if Mail.app was moved from /Applications or placed in a sub-folder there, the update (Security Update 2012-004) couldn't find it and fails for writing new files to Mail. This update updates Mail 4.5 to 4.6, consequently the message that 4.5 is incompatible, since it's looking at the now "old" 4.5 version. See the thread linked below for a fix and some other possible workarounds.

Basically, make sure Mail.app is in the Applications folder inside the Macintosh HD folder, and sitting by itself not in an enclosing folder. Then get the update from Apple Downloads and run that again. -

And I have tried everything from updates, to moving the coremedia.dll file, to uninstalling and reinstalling so many times im afraid they are not gonna let me download it anymore!!! It said that I had an update, so I updated it and now my Iphone won't connect to Itunes. Please help!
It has been shown there are problems with the latest update of iTunes and Windows computers. What you need to do is remove and reinstall iTunes, and make sure that you follow the steps in this support document exactly. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1923. If you do not follow them exactly, you will just compound your problems. Once you do this, you should have no trouble having the phone recognized in iTunes.

I recently downloaded the latest version of Itunes. As soon as that was finalized, my Ipod stopped showing up on the screen when I was in Itunes and I can't sync new songs and audiobooks to it. How do I get my Ipod to work again? It charges up and plays just fine, it will not sync or update with Itunes. There is nothing showing on Itunes that I can manually sync it, either. That option can't be clicked on. I have no other devices other than the Ipod that syncs with Itunes now, I used to have an Iphone, but I don't anymore
