If you are talking about your friend's iTunes password, you are not supposed to use or have his password or even his music,etc. in your computer...

It says I have over 150 gigs of video on my hard drive. But I have gone through and deleted almost all of what shows up, still it says there is roughly the same amount on the hard drive. Where are these files? I want to delete them so I can have my hard drive clear.

If your machine was made after 2009 you probably installed th wrong HD. Beginning in 2009 Apple began using HD's that had an integrated fan sensor. If you did not use one of these drives then that is the problem. You should contact OWC (www.macsales.com) or visit your local AASP and they will help you select the correct HD to use.

You need to boot the computer from another source, e.g. a CD or an external drive. Then run Disk Utility, select the drive you want cleaned up, and run Erase. Note the security options: "write zeroes" will erase the drive completely.

Make sure all of your data is on your computer BEFORE you attempt to update. The update is an erase/restore deal.

If you didn't make a back-up of your purchases to restore from then I'm sorry to say that the policy on lost purchases is that you have to pay to download them again:
"Once a Product is purchased and you receive the Product, it is your responsibility not to lose, destroy, or damage the Product, and Apple shall be without liability to you in the event of any loss, destruction, or damage." iTunes Store: Purchased content can be downloaded only once
You could try contacting the iTunes Music Store Customer Service and you might be able to persuade them to sanction a second free download. There have been occasional reports in the iTunes forum of this happening, however just be aware that they are not under any obligation to do so. Can I take my PC's 120GB hard drive that already has Windows XP on it and put it in one of the hard drive slots in the Mac Pro and have a dual boot system that way? Or is there any way I can do that?

Not only reactivating is to consider, but Windows tends to
act strange if too many hardware parts change (and too many
drivers are to be installed).
Especially with SATA-Drivers there are almost always difficulties, because Win XP itself doesn't know about SATA (because its too 'old').
Since I have use PCs for almost 18 years I would always recommend a fresh install, when things like Mainboards are changed.

Transferring using Time Machine will not work with Adobe applications. Many small but necessary files will not be put in the proper place.
You'll have to first remove everything you copied using the Adobe Cleaner tool:

Then download the CS4 installer with the link Mylenium provided.

I am not sure on what to do at this point. I have gotten rid of my old computer, I had used to sync my iPod, and to add to that.. The back button broke! I have tried everything from jailbreaking techniques, to just plugging it in to my new computer and trying to sync it. If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

- Transfer other music by using a third-party program lke one of those discussed here:

- Connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right-clicking on the iPOd under Devices in iTunes and selecting Back Up.
- Restore the iPod from that backup. That should also get you the update.

Unfortunately you've discovered too late how important it is to maintain an up-to-date backup of your iTunes library (and all other data of value). You could, before wiping the drive, have considered making use of a commercial data recovery service that could (albeit at considerable cost) have extracted your library from the hard disk, even if virus infected.
In the absence of that option, you will need to restore the content of your library from its original sources:
Depending on your location, you may be able to re-download any iTunes Store purchases that are still available on the Store
Likewise, most digital purchases from Amazon (including auto-rip copies of purchased CDs) should be available from the Amazon Cloud and via the Amazon Music application - the same may be true of other commercial sources for digital downloads
Content imported from your CDs will have to imported again
The specific situation that you describe regarding the music imported from your friend's external HDD suggests that either the source is badly organized and/or originates from a source other than iTunes (other media players may use alternative tags for information like artist, title, album, etc. that are not wholly consistent with how iTunes handle these). Without details of the issues you're seeing it is difficult to suggest a remedy other than going through the media album-by-album, track-by-track, and correcting the inconsistencies.
In the absence of a backup or access to the original library data there is no option other than painstakingly recreating your library as described above. The music sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
