Why doesn't my calendar sync with my iphone or iPad?

When I make an calendar entry on my Mac (Lion) is doesn't automatically sync with my iphone or ipad. But if I make the entry on the iphone/ipad first, it will show up in my calendar on the Mac. What have I not done right?

On your Mac open System Preferences > iCloud
Deselect Calendars then reselect.
On both the iPhone and iPad, tap Settings > iCloud
Switch Calendars off then back on.
Give iCloud a few minutes to re sync the data.

HT1386 I am unable to get a two way calendar sync with my iPhone 4s and my mac's ical. iTunes syncs my mac's calendar to the phone, but not the other way. I do not use iCloud and I cannot find any menu for removing sync history as described by others.

I have spent 3 hours trying to get my ical updated on my mac with events added to my iphone calendar. Itunes will sync the calendars from the mac to the phone, but not vice versa. I have read every post which relates to this problem, but I do not use iCloud, there is no iSync app on my mac, and there is no menu to delete sync history under system preferences. My mac is fairly new and is running Mac OS X 10.7.4. I tried to delete the iphone from itunes and start over, but can't even do that. Now what? Any advice short of throwing both devices out the window?

If you see the Sync menu in the menu bar, skip to step 3:

Upgrading my PC from windows 8.0 to 8.1, I accepted to use Skydrive as Cloud. Now I have lost my ICloud calendar sync with my iphone and iPad which appears no more in Outlook. I can access calendar on my PC through iCloud app but not printable. HELP!

My iphone and ipad are stil synchronized but Calendar does not sync with Outlook since I upgraded the PC to windows 8.1

All I had to do was complain. I synced my iPhone to the Windows machine, checked the other account at iTunes prompting (where no apps had shown up previously), reconnected the iPad, and 140 apps downloaded including the App Store. I have no idea why.

How do I sync music to my ipod nano using a music program other than itunes. Please tell me the easiest way. I can't seem to figure it out. Thanks

HDV Workflow -- What's wrong with this picture (other than some obvious)

I have a client with a canon XH-A1, they are ingesting via iMovie HD, cutting a rough timeline in iMovie, and then porting to FCP (via drag and drop) for me to finish on. Seems plausible all editing via AIC (apple intermediate codec). Final destination will be SD DVD, WEB, Handheld media, etc. Am I missing something or is this somewhat acceptable (other than loss of timecode) which they aren't concerned about since it's pretty lo-budget.
Is editing using the AIC horrible (picture looks acceptable). I'm not used to this workflow. I work in DV, SD or DVCPROHD codecs/timelines but am baffled by not being able to ingest directly from Final Cut with this Canon HDV camera, but iMovie has that flexibility (view, start, stop, import) whereas I'm not getting any options other than capture now with FCP.
Thoughts, criticisms, advice greatly appreciated.

I ended up capturing via FCP using HDV1080i60 easy setup with capture setting working with both Sony HDV over firewire and HDV Firewire Basic.
Seems like all is working well using this setup. It's far more than the client needs as we'll be downconverting the timeline to SD once complete, but good enough now for edit. HDV is not fun to work with I'll tell ya. Still having some errors with log and capture.

HT4528 Is there a fix for calendar sync issues between iPhone 4S and Outlook?

My boss has an iPhone 4S running iOS 6.0.1 and a Microsoft Exchange 2003 email account and has consisent sync issues with her calendar. The problem only seems to come up with calendar invitations. Usually, when people send her calendar invitations the events get added to her Outlook calendar on her PC but not on her iPhone. More recently she also sent out invitations through Outlook that also didn't appear on her phone. She has also accepted invitations on her phone that did not appear on her PC. The problem seems to have gotten worse more recently.
Does anyone know of a way to fix this? I tried deleting the calendar through the phone's settings and re-installed it but it didn't solve the issue.

There was a reported issue with Exchange and iOS with re-occuring meeting invites. Not only did it cause issues on the device, but on the Exchange server side it created huge logs and high utilization on the CAS. This was an issue on iOS 6.0.x - 6.1.3 (at which time it has been fixed from 6.1.3 on). This was attributed to the iOS version and happened on all devices (not just the 4s).
I am not sure if this is what your employee is experiencing or not - but this is one that we had, and we asked all running iOS 6 to upgrade to the most current release (oddly enough, we did not see this in iOS 5.x devices).

Using iCoud?
On the iPhone tap Settings > iCloud
Make sure Calendars is switched ON.

You don't sync the MM calendar anymore, you subscribe to it in iCal,
iCal>Preferences>Accounts, enter the details here.
MM should be the default calendar on all clients.

Try using iCloud to sync them. On the computer, System Preferences/iCloud - sign in with your Apple ID and select what you want to sync.
On the iPhone, go to Settings and sign into iCloud, then select what you want to sync.

I found a solution that worked for me:
What I did:
1. Uninstalled iTunes, but didnt need to remove other related software components
2. Downloaded and installed iTunes from here (as you suggested): iTunes 12.1 for Windows (64-bit — for older video cards)
3. I didnt have to reset Sync History or change anything and it works!
