HT1296 When I connect my I5 I cannot see it in iTunes, I have restarted the phone, any suggestions?
I have connected my I5 to my computer and opened iTubes but I cannot see my phone and am unable to sync my music, any suggestions?
If you have a retail Mac OS X 10.5 or 10.6 DVD lying around, install it. If not, order a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD from the online Apple Store.

My iPhone 4s plays muted music in the background when connected via Bluetooth to my 2009 Ford Focus. This puts a heavy drain on the phone battery. I would appreciate any ideas to prevent this happening.
It doesn't really matter whether I am talking to Apple or not (and I'm sure they monitor these comments), I want everyone to know how bad this new iphone 4s is, and all of it's problems.
Apple have already launched an upgrade to the software - it obviously did not help, as many around the world would concur.
As far as being patient and waiting for another "update in the works" is concerned, it is just not satisfactory. This is not a cheap phone, and those who are experiencing these problems, should not have to be paying a substantial amount of money, for a very smart phone, that obviously, has some serious problems. -
Trying to connect a new printer to my Mac book, and it cant find the device any suggestions?
I have just bought a new printer a Canon MG5350 and my Mac will not connect to it. It wont find it through wireless and when i connect a printer cord, it recognises the printer but cant find any drivers to support it.
Has anyone got any suggestions?Maybe, check their specs and read their reviews BEFORE purchasing.

Hi, I am having the same issue but with the iPhone 4. I bring it up and it sits there then it quits unexpectedly. I can't even get into the settings either. If you hear about a solution I'd be greatful! And if I hear one I will let you know! I'm glad I am not the only one going through this!

Do you have the compass app on your phone? If you press and hold the home button do you get voice control? I'm betting the answer to both of these questions is no.

IPhone 3GS cannot be synced. iTunes will not recognize the phone at all anymore. How can I fix this?
It synced just fine a few weeks ago, but suddenly now it's not being recoginzed.

When I connect my Iphone 5 to sync with my Itunes on my PC I get a message- This Iphone cannot be used because required software is not installed. Run Itunes installer to remove itunes then install itunes again.
After uninstalling and reinstalling Itunes- issue was fixed. Thanks!

when i connect my iphone to my laptop and open itunes it shows my iphone has nothing on it(no music, no movies, etc...) then when i try to sync it says iphone is is full and can only put in a selected amount of songs. Take in mind this is my first time to sync with this laptop(HP 15 ENVY) and as well my laptop is just brand new. just got it a week ago. so how do i fix this prob. and also when i open my itunes store and then view my account it says error occurred either debug it through Microsoft visual studio or close program. I tired copying all the .dll files to the itunes folder didn't help
I cannot address the sync services error right now, but the error that you receive when you change from sync to manually manage music is what happens when you change. Once you change to manually manage music, it erases all of the music and will only put the music that you want on the phone, content that you manually drag over to it. My iphone won't download apps when connected to wifi or 3g, this includes apps previously on the phone any ideas?
It goes to download then stops just showing the cloud and arrowYes we are connected. I even tried by connecting to the computer thru iTunes. It is not working for either of us. Just says unable to download at this time. I was able to connect and restore my apps from my old iPhone buy it won't let me add new ones for do update on the old apps.

When a pop up window comes up it is - search bookmarks and history window! I cannot log into my bank as login button should open new window to log in but I get the search page. I cannot see larger images as again I get the search bookmarks and history page etc. Happens on all options that should open new page. When I connect my iPhone 5 to my laptop and iTunes, I can't play movies from the iPhone on my computer.Why is that? Can I do this or it's not possible with iPhone5? With my iPod it's no problem.
Reinstall iTunes. Make sure you follow the instructions in this support document to the letter. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923.
You may have some problems because Apple has not certified that everything works with Windows 8 yet. -

Ive got the same problem, just got my iphone unlocked, and they told me to sync it to itunes to get it permently unlocked, well everytime i plug my iphone in it says; it wont work as it needs up dating to 10.6.3, which i have already updated, but still doesnt work, so how can i get my phone unlocked?

I bought a new MacBook Pro (Mac Os 10.8.4) when conecting my mobile broadband dongle (Huawei E122) the computer does not read it at all. I do not have problems when connecting it to my former computer (PC) and a Mac from last year. Any suggestions?

Yes, I did that. They have uppgrades for the dongles, but just untill Mac Os 10.7. Their solution is to buy a new modem from them or getting one for free if I sign a contract for 24 months! So, i think from that side not very helpful.
It is just that I do not want to buy a new modem, when it works in quite recent computers and after having spent money in the new Mac.

I've bought a Digital AV Adapter to be able to connect my Iphone 4g to the TV. I only get sound but no picture when I look at TVPlay-canals. Photo gallery OK. I have updated my phone to the latest version IOS. Any solution?

Your phone doesn't do mirroring, only the 4S will do that. It only does basic AirPlay.
Websites and third party Apps need enabling before they will allow AirPlay of Video content. Some Website/App developers have not enabled their products, some simply haven't got around to it yet, others have stated that they won't be enabling AirPlay (likely as a result of licensing issues). -
Just bought new iPod touch. When I connect to computer to sync it tells me "iTunes could not connect to this iPod touch. Could not send a message to device." Not sure if it is b/c of an older version of iTunes but connecting via wifi sync unacceptable
What version of iTunes is on the computer? You need at least 11.4.
