HT1311 Not authorised to purchase in Austrian store but my region is not saved as Austria it is South Africa?

I am unable to get any Apps. message on screen tells me I am "not authorised to purchase in the Austrian store. Please change to South African store."
I have followed steps to check my region & my Apple ID after tapping is South Africa ??

Thanks for the question, and welcome to Apple Support Communities.
If, while searching through your past purchases, items are unavailable to download and show a "Purchased" button, they are still on your computer. It may be best to search your iTunes library by clicking Music, then use the search bar at the top right.
If you are completely sure the items are no longer in your library, try signing out of the iTunes Store, and then back in.

  • I am trying to download previously purchased music from iTunes, it show "purchased" in iTunes Store but does not show up under previous purchase tab

    There are several albums that I've previously purchased that somehow were deleted from my computer & iPad.  When I go to download available purchases on PC it say that all available punches have been downloaded.  When I check iTunes Store it show as "purchased".  When I try to check & download from iCloud via either iPad or PC these items do not show up under items purchased. 
    I can't even re-purchase the item, which I've tried since it shows as purchased in iTunes Store.  This is very troublesome because there is no way for me to access these previous purchases.  I have been using iTunes & various Apple products with the iTunes Store for several years & there is a lot of money invested in these previous purchases, that there is no way for me to access.  As mentioned, I'd even be willing to re-purchase some of these items (though this should be unnecessary).  But, the iTunes Store won't let me, because the items show up as purchased in store, but not on any of my devices!!!
    Help!

  • HT204370 I have a movie that states its downloading when I check it out in purchases within the Store, but it's not downloading, how do I resolve this?

    I have a purchased movie that looks to be perpetually downloading in iTunes account except it isn't. I cannot seem to recommence it's download nor delete it. Any thoughts on how to resolve this would be gratefully received.

    Here's what you do
    1.Make sure your phone is not plugged into the computer.
    2. Put the iPhone into recovery mode (this is NOT DFU mode). Do this by
         a). Hold down both the power/sleep button and the home button until the screen turns black/off
         b). As soon as this happens release the power button but NOT the home button
         c). If done correctly then the Apple logo will appear, KEEP HOLDING THE HOME BUTTON and eventually a connect to itunes graphic will appear. You can release the home button
    3. With the connect to itunes graphic on the screen, plug your phone into the computer. iTunes will start up if it is not already on, and then will say the phone needs restoring. Ignore this and COMPLETELY quit iTunes.
    4. With iTunes off and the graphic still on the phone screen, hold down both the power/sleep and the home button again for 9 seconds (count 100, 200, 300...) or until the screen goes black
    5. When the screen goes black release the home button straight away.
    6. It will start up with the iPhone activation screen ignore this. iTunes should have started up, if not do so. Go to the iPhone tab and either resotre from backup or set up as a new phone.

    You've checked the purchase history on your account (Store > View My Account menu option on your computer's iTunes), and have you made any in-app purchases or have any auto-renewing subscriptions ?  If not and you haven't added or changed your credit card details (when you do then a temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the details are correct and valid, which should disappear within a few days) then you can contact iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

    Since it has always been very basic to backup your computer and all it's data, Apple provides no way for you to transfer music from your iPhone back to your computer.  As you know, you can re-download all iTunes purchases, but music that you ripped yourself you'll have to just re-rip again.
    You can try and find 3rd party applications that might help you.  I'm sure you'll pay, however.
    Let this be a very important lesson learned.

    Change iTunes Store Country on an iDevice
    1. Tap Settings;
    2. Tap iTunes & App Stores;
    3. Tap View Apple ID;
    4. Enter your user name and password;
    5. Tap Country/Region;
    6. Tap Change Country/Region;
    7. Select the region where you will be located;
    8. Tap Done.

    When you click the song, pop up the window saying that can't find a file.
    There is no instruction how to get download again the songs already purchased.

    The first thing you have to do is to remove the songs from iTunes, so right-click them and choose Delete.
    Then, follow these steps to redownload the songs > http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519 If you see the name of the song with a cloud icon after deleting it in the iTunes window, press it and it will be downloaded automatically

    Do you mean that it is carrier locked?
    You would have to contact the carrier to which it is locked and see if they offer unlocking and if you qualify.
    Or does "won't work" mean something else?

  • Card number not accepted in billing info. (South Africa)

    I started experiencing problems with iTunes accepting my billing information. Particularly my card number. No matter how many times I re-enter the number, I get an error message: "Your payment method is not valid in this store"
    I have used this billing information before and do not understand why now I am having problems.
