HT1311 When I download an app they ask for the password of the other account
How can I change the Apple ID ? I have changed it in the settings but still another Apple ID APPEARS WHEN DOWNLOADING APPLICATIONS
As others have mentioned, reestablish your old Apple id to get to your apps

Then try leaving the password field blank and hitting enter. If that doesn't work, you have a password (and would be beyond the help available in the Adobe forums).

I assume that you meant that you reset the password three times. Did you receive any verification that the new password was accepted?
Sign out of you account, restart the iPad and sign in again. Settings>Store>Apple ID - tap the ID and sign out.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in again. -
iphone is disable contact itunes. I downloaded blacklist app. my phone locked and when I would slide to unlock it asked for a password. I never created one. I tried several passwords and they were incorrect. so it disable my phone and gave the message to contact itunes
You downloaded this blacklist app from the iTunes app store?
You must restore your iPhone with iTunes. -
I Have a new email address which I have entered into settings and it has been verified. I no longer have the old email address. When I try to update an app, it comes up with my old email address and asks for my password. It always comes back with a message that the password is incorrect. What do I do to fix this?

I basically got this phone about 2 weeks ago and i cannot download or update anything . I would mind it asking for my sisters apple password but she doesn't know it so how do i take it off ? It will ask for mine then a few seconds later it will ask for hers . In my settings everything is signed in as me but i just don't get why it still ask for her apple id. I have logged out and reset all my settings and it still ask for her apple id. If i can figure out how do i get her password ?
Any apps that she downloaded onto the device are tied to her apple ID. They cannot be transferred to another account. To update those apps, you would either need her password, or you could delete the apps and download them using your own apple id.

Why is it, since the last iTunes update, I'm asked to update my billing information every time I try to download or update an app?
iTunes claims that my account has been used on another machine, but it's only running on my iPhone and my laptop as always.

My iPad won't let me sign into my Apple ID when I try and download an app it asks for my id and password and when i type it in the iPad displays a message saying cannot connect to iTunes Store. However when i do this on my phone it works perfectly. Even when i sign in and out.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so how can I fix this?Remember, any purchased item from the itunes store is forever associated with the Apple ID used to buy it. So when you get prompted for an ID/password and it doesn't accept it, then you are using the wrong ID.
Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores, be sure it's logged into the ID you have set on the iphone (since that one seems to be connecting with the right ID). If you've done this, then you might wait a bit to see if the "cannot connect to .. store" message has to do with internet connections. -
My friend connects his iphone to my computer because i have more music in my itunes library. when he disconnects it and tries to update or download new app it asks for my apple id and not his. Any way to fix this?
Stop letting him sync his device to your computer.
He has no legal right to any of the content on your computer.
Tell this friend to sync his device to his computer, this will remove all content that had been synced from your computer and replace it with content from his computer.
If he likes the media that you have, you can "gift" him some songs via iTunes or he can purchase it himself. -
I can't download the app , they asked me to key in the iTunes password but the app was not download.

It sounds like the apps were purchased using your dads account, so they will have to be updated using that account.

Usually I get a message saying "Unable to download application" and "<app> could not be downloaded at this time - Done or Retry".
It's not an iTunes login / password issue because sometimes one or two of the Apps will download and the others stall with the blank progress bar. The internet connection is working fine in all other respects.

My husband plugged my iPhone into his computer, created an account and now when I want to add apps it asks for his password not mine. How do I get my account back? Tried plugging it into his computer again. No prompt to change account back to mine.

My AppStore id is my apple id n password which is good when purchasing. But when I am updating from update option it ask for a password. The user id I see there is not mine, it's different. How do I change that to my apple Id? Please help me resolve this issue. I have tried resetting it but nothing... Either I'm doing something wrong or....
I believe the issue is with the Apple ID that was used to purchase the App. If you download an App that was purchased under a different Appple ID then all updates will also be linked to the original purchaser's Apple ID. Your Apple ID is the the same ID as your iTunes, iCloud, etc. Some folks use different ID for the different Apple sites. No need for that One ID for all Apple Sites, and if someone else buys an App using their ID and they(you) download that App onto your device and that App requires an update it will ask for the purchasers Apple ID. This happens a lot when folks sell their iPad or give it to someone else and leave some purchased(free) Apps on the iOS device. You cannot change the original ID the App was purchased under. A suggestion would be if someone else has an App that you like but do not want to pay for use their ID or in the future have them gift the App to you.
