If you are syncing your audiobooks from your iTunes Library, you should be able to remove them from there (or set them not to sync), and the next time you sync your iPod they should be removed.

What you do is this; the next time your ipod is jacked to the USB port on you computer and it shows under "Devices" in your Itunes library. click on that folder (your ipod) and it will have eight folders above the Ipod's state.
That was step one; step two is once you see this bar above the ipod's state in the Ipod's folder under "devices" scroll down the horizontal bar until you see audiobooks
Itune's is very user friendly and will give you the option to pick and choose or pick all. to get the audio books off your ipod pick and choose the audio books you want on you're ipod

I'm having a problem with my ipod. I just purchased music and uploaded 2 of my own cds which is great but there are files on my ipod that i didnt upload or purchase that my computer automatically downloaded. There not in order and I've deleted the files from my playlists etc but they are still in the ipod.
so my question is how do I get them out of my ipod??
