HT1320 iPod Nano 6th stops playing after about 1.5 minutes

I listen to long poscasts. After about 1.5 minutes, the play stops. I've updated, reset. No success.
Related, my headphones no longer control volume or pause.
What should I try next?

I read the answer on this forum.
The jack receiver was cluttered with pocket lint. Use a needle to help you pick/tap/blow the stuff out.
When it could not detect the headphone jack, the iPod turned off. Once the jack was detected (with the clean receiver) , everything good.

Found this solution in another thread, what you want to do is go into the Nike Fitness thing, go to run, go to Spoken Feedback and set it to off. This should fix your problems.

- When sleeping the iPod can use wifi and if it has trouble connecting it will keep trying and drain the battery. I leave mine in airplane mode when sleeping. Otherwise it is frequenlty drained like you see on yours.
- The rapid drop whe playing vido seems to indicae that something is wrong.
- If your iPod is defective and under warranty, Apple will give you a refurbished one of the same model.

The "Tools" are in the old drop down menu, which are not shown by default in the new Firefox Design. To show this menu:
Firefox Menu > Customize
On the bottom left there will be Show/Hide Toolbars. The Menu will be listed here.

My new 6th generation ipod nano keeps shutting down after 30 seconds. It has been registered with itunes and has about 200+ songs on it. I have not tried to reset it because i was not sure what this would do. Please help!

This is usually a sign that your headphones are not plugged all the way in. Make sure you cannot see any silver still showing from the headphone's plug. It may require a little extra force to get the headphones to become fully inserted. You should hear a sort of clicking noise indicating that they have been fully seated.
Also check the headphone port from a damage or debris.

Videos stop playing after about 2 minutes on ITunes

Hello! Sorry, if I have missed an answer to the same question. I have recently upgraded to ITunes 7.5.0.20 and found out that any video purchased through ITunes stop playing in about 2 minutes. While ITunes show the video is still running, there is no picture (and no sound) on the computer with the last picture frozen. There is no problem in playing the same videos on Ipod so far. The problem appeared only after I have upgraded ITunes and does not go away while I have tried to re-install ITunes a number of times. No problem with the video files converted and transferred to ITunes. Would appreciate any hint or solution. Michael

It's an internal problem with the hardware/software with computers running windows. The only solutions is to copy your videos to an external harddrive, and play them from there. If you do so they will play normally. There has not been a "fix" from itunes yet, so that's the only way to watch them (for now).

My Nano (6th Generation has suddenly began to stop playing music after about 30 seconds. Pressing the play arrow starts it again but only for another 30 seconds. I have restored it to factory settings twice but the problem is still there.

This happens because the nano is not detecting that your headset is inserted.
First, push your headset jack in really hard. If you can see any silver at all of the headset jack when it is plugged in, it is not fully inserted.
You should feel and hear a distinct "Click" when the headset is fully inserted.
If even after all this you still have the problem, check to see if something has gotten stuck in the headset jack. I got some pocket lint in mine the other day and it cause this. Used some can'd air to get it out.

i have a ipod nano 5th gen with the video camra in it i was woundering if when i get the 6th gen can i put the tv show epasode that i have on my 5th gen on to the 6th gen and i allso have game i no i cant put those on it but can it have games at all the 6th one

You can't play movies/tv shows on the 6th gen nano, and same with games.

Web player randomly cut off sound and stop playing after about 5 seconds.

My web player cut off the sound and stops after about 5 seconds. The only way to get it to work again without refreshing the page it to select a different time periode in the time bar. Also it happens more often at the first 25% of the movie.
I am using safari with add block on a Macbook pro retina (if this helps with the issue).

Songs stop playing after about 2 minutes

Certain songs in my iTunes library stop playing near the end and there is only silence. It doesn't happen with every song so I can't predict which ones will behave this way. Any ideas?

I'm having this exact problem now with an iPhone 4 (not the 4S) and running software 6.1.3 with iTunes version 11.0.4.4. - The songs play fine in iTunes. In some instances I brought in the songs from CDs, in other instances I purchased from the iTunes store meaning I can't simply convert them. In either way they play silence on my iPhone around halfway through and for the remainder of the track.
I have attempted a full restore from a backup, and then reloaded all of my music, same songs, same problem. I don't feel a manual restore would help because that means reprogramming every single app, and the music would be reloaded the same way so what difference could that make?
Just to add insult to injury my protection plan ran out about 2 weeks ago and my phone otherwise works fine, so this can't possibly be worth purchasing another pricey plan just to be allowed to TALK to Apple.

I just bought a nano 7, and it stops playing when connected to a large system, such as a gym. I am a Zumba instructor, and have tried it at several gyms.

Does this happen when you play these same tracks in iTunes?

Movie Stopped Playing after about half an hour

Hi everyone!
I recently burnt an iDVD movie that I had made in iMovie and then played it on my DVD player. Everything was working fine and I had skipped a couple of chapters... after watching for around half an hour the video and audio stopped playing... I also tried it on another DVD player, it did the same thing but straight away. Could it have been something wrong with the burning or is it the DVD or the DVD players? The DVD I used was a TDK DVD-R.

Hi Jia,
The media refers to your brand of discs. Try a different brand of discs. Verbatim is the most commonly recommended brand, although Sony, Panasonic and TDK have good success rates too, although sometimes even the highest recommended discs fail.
Also, don't use iDVD to burn a disc. Go to the file menu in iDVD and save it as a disc image. Then you can use Toast or the disc utility to burn the disc image at a slow speed - 1x or 2x. The slower the speed, the better the burn.

Videos stop playing after about 25%. Will load completely but

will not play past a certain point. Happens on just about any video site. Running latest version of Flash Player on Windows 7 (64 bit) on new system.
