HT1338 How can I reinstall the app?

An application didn't install completely and I can't remove that app so I can't reinstall it. How can I reinstall the app?
A dialog came up saying I have to send the app to the wastebasket before reinstalling it. But when I tried that it gave me an error code 8062. I couldn't find any info on error on 8062 nor could I find anything to correct it. It appears I'm at catch 22. The app is Easy Password Storage.
Can anyone help me with this?

In order to reinstall the applications that are installed as part of the system, you'll need to reinstall OS X. While the article linked below is written for OS X Mavericks (10.9), the steps are the same for Lion (10.7) through Yosemite (10.10).

You cannot delete it.
It is likley on another page, in a folder, or you have restrictions set.
Check all of these, they are covered in the manual.

I was moving things around and all, and every application disappeared from the "Dock". However, a "?" sing appears on every spot of where there were an application, if I run the mouse over the "?" symbol the name of an application appears on the location where it was previously posted with its Icon. I have reinstalled Moutain Lion, and the Disk. I cannot find any applications on the "application folder/tab", I can not retrieve it from an all files search, I cannot open "time capsule"

Double-click on your hard drive's Desktop icon. It will be shown in the Finder window that opens. If it does not then you have removed it or moved it. Search for it otherwise, you need to reinstall OS X.

In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
Next time don't go moving things around when you don't know what you are doing.

This is a mystery. Both YouTube apps have different icons so they're not duplicates.
One is a picture of an old fashioned television and the other is the YouTube logo.
The old fashioned TV was able to be disabled in the ipod settings so that must be the one that belongs.
I'm pretty sure the other one also came with the unit.
Maybe I should start a thread?

That large yellow font is very hard to read.
The App Store app can't be deleted but can be hidden by Restrictions. Settings>General>Restrictions
Have you tried using the Spotlight search. Maybe you just can find it.

If you bought/paid for them in the Mac App Store, you would just need to sign in to the MAS with the Apple ID you used to purchase them, go to purchases, and click install.
As for the limited licensing that Bordy brought up, the TOS for the MAS states:
"Apps from the Mac App Store may be used on any Macs that you own or control for your personal use."
If you installed them from an iWork disc, just pop the disc back in and reinstall.

As you have 10.5.8 you need to upgrade to at least 10.6.6 to get the App Store as this was the 1st version it came with.
A workaround is to get a friend who has 10.6.6 or better to download Lion for you without installing it. You can create an App Store account on the friend's computer I think to do this. Copy the Lion installer from that computer to a USB stick or burn it to DVD and you should be able to install it on your own computer, I think. You might have to create an empty partition on your own computer first for Lion installation as I'm not sure that it will install over Leopard.

You cannot call anyone. You contact them as everyone else does: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/
You delete the app as you do any other app. Hold an icon until they wiggle. Tap the "x". This is covered in the manual.

I downloaded 4.0.1 and lost all my Yahoo toolbar apps but still have the Yahoo search bar. How can I get the apps back? Refreshing the "gear" does nothing.
