How to buy Mac OSX Mountain Lion without going to Mac AppStore.
Hello! This is my first post on these forums so please welcome me if you are feeling nice today!
Before we get started please note that I know Mavericks is released and it is better, however I need Mountain Lion in this case. I currently can't access the Mac AppStore due to a glitch on my computer and I am wondering if there is any way to purchase Mountain Lion OSX without being on my Mac, basically just buy it on my Apple ID. If you know of any ways, please respond with a link to a website if it is a website of course, and thanks for your help in advance!Try here > http://store.apple.com/us/product/D6377Z/A/os-x-mountain-lion

How to sync hotmail contacts and emails on Mac OSX Mountain Lion?
I have problem in setting up my hotmail synchronization on my macbook, specially my contacts and my calendars, including about my 10 years business conections and records. What shall I do?
The extra content will be in the HD/Library/Application Support/iDVD folder. Check to see if that folder is still present. Or check in the Home/Library/Application Support for the iDVD foldler.
If you find it in either of those locations launch iDVD, go to it's Advanced preference pane and point iDVD to the location of the iDVD/Themes folder:
Otherwise you'll need the disks that came with your Mac to do a custom install if iDVD and the addtional resources. The disk will be similar to one of these:

How do I transfer all my data, including and especially iTunes, from my old Power PC G5, running MAC OSX 10.5.8, to my husband's new 27" MAC? His iTune collection is minimal, mine over 2,000 songs. I would like his computer to become my only working computern where I would manage my iTune collection. Help! Thank you.

I want to make a bootable usb drive for my macbook air,and my system is osx mountain lion 10.8.5. How can i download it again without repaying for it so i can make my bootable flashdrive? I'm pretty new at this computer stuff so i don't know how things work.
Message was edited by: tzaphonThis is not difficult and you will not have to download from the app store.
your computer has what is called a recovery partition that came with it.
simply hold cmd+R while you boot up. let go a second after you hear the chime.
you will boot into the recovery partition.
Use disk utlity to format your usb drive and then exit Disk utlity and go to Reinstall Mountain Lion.
it will ask you which disk you want to install ML onto. Choose your new USB drive.
easy peasy -
Does anyone know how to update OSX Mountain Lion 10.8.1. to 10.8.2. on a late 2012 Mac mini. All I get are 'not compatible' messages even using supplementary updates etc?
It appears that many of the problems with the HDMI are the "monitors" that are being used. Samsung and Vizeo both DO NOT support a computer input on HDMI only VGA. There probably are others, manuals must be read to confirm compatability.
I strongly believe that the reason the 10.8.2 update was pulled is due to the fact (it happened to me) that the new Disk Utility creates a Fusion drive if aftermarket SSDs are added to the system. I think Apple wants this propriatary Fusion Drive to be something you buy from them not a "homebrew" for lots less money. -
Hello CS Community: I am about to renew my CS cloud subscription for one year. My current subscription is for one user for both Mac (and) PC. When I renew, how do I know I'm getting a subscription for both my MAC and my PC? It's not clear what is included in the purchase. I'm choosing the 49.00 a month package. Any insight would be much appreciated.
Hi ShearLine,
The Creative Cloud subscription is not OS specific as it's licensed via your Adobe ID.
You can purchase a single subscription and use it on 2 machines irrespective of it being Windows or Mac.

How do I know if Bonjour is enabled on my device and Mac
How do I know if Bonjour is enabled on my device and Mac? My Mac could not identify an APP: "Document to go" that I bought for my iPad. One of the problems could be that Bonjour was not enabled? Please help.
On Snow Leopard if mDNSResponder is running then so is Bonjour. Look in your Activity Monitor (all processes).

If you're trying to run an iPad app on a Mac, forget it. You can't. Otherwise please clarify what the problem is.

I want to use icloud to sync w/my new apple tv. bought osx snow leopard and installed it plus upgraded to 2 gigs memory for my
old (2007) macbook. still won't work. I need to get to at least osx 10.7.4 or to osx mountain lion. Tried everything and can't get there.
I'm not a computer whiz...quite a novice. so, if you can help; please speak in layman language....ha ThanksiCloud requires 10.7.2 or later.
After you install Snow Leopard you will have to download and install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 to update Snow Leopard to 10.6.8 and give you access to the App Store. Access to the App Store enables you to download Mountain Lion if your computer meets the requirements.
Upgrading to Lion
If your computer does not meet the requirements to install Mountain Lion, it may still meet the requirements to install Lion.
You can purchase Lion by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service - this includes international calling numbers. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax. It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.
Lion System Requirements
1. Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7,
or Xeon processor
2. 2GB of memory
3. OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
4. 7GB of available space
5. Some features require an Apple ID; terms apply. -
