HT1338 How do we ignore an update, like in the older update system?
In the old update system, we could flag certain updates that we wanted to ignore. How do we do that in the new app store update system?
Oh, I see. So is it Dreamweaver that wont let you create the
insert statement using a form that is already submitting to a
results.asp page? So if I create the insert statement by had it
should work?

I may be a bit behind the times: I am used to tabbed browsing showing all the tabs it possibly can, instead of just the last one. Sometimes it won't even show the last tab: I can have 15 tabs open, and not see a single tab. I've been confused by this into closing a window with lots of tabs open, because it looks like a single page-window.
My main problem with the tab-bar flashing to the end of the row is that it means a great deal more mouse-clicking around to browse.
I haven't tried installing the latest beta. Maybe that would fix the problem.

I got a iphone 5 but it does not work on my MacBook with Mac OSx 10.5.8 it says i need OSX 10.6.8 but it will not download because I need OSX 10.6 but it would load either. How do I get the older operating system to work with the IPhone5?
You don't. Since you have an Intel Mac, buy a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD from the online Apple Store.

It has been some weeks now and so far no issues to report. So it seems ok. And my eMac is a version before yours.

but to answer your question, you can still download old firmwares and then press shift while clicking on the restore button in itunes, point it to the fw and there you (should) go. -

I have figured out that if I do a hard restart of the phone the apps will work for a time, but then they begin to all freeze up again after a short time.
This may be a problem of not enough free storage. Have you checked the storage used by your apps?

Restore depends on a source of data from which to restore. BB provides plenty of FREE methods to backup your data and thereby protect that priceless resource. If you did not avail yourself of that, then you have migrated from the latter to the former in this old saying...there are 2 kinds of computing device users -- those who have lost data, and those who will. Backups, like insurance, are neither a reactive nor an optional activity.

How do I find out if I installed the new update?
I installed it while my time capsule was backing up (bad idea DONT DO IT), and i think the update was installed completely but how do i check for sure??
Go to System Preferences open Software update and then choose the Installed updates tab. You will see there the list of updates installed in your computer.

The new iTunes has truly added extra visual noise.
I am trying to view a single Artist and the individual track information of that artist. This used to be how itunes was, you could click on a single artist and then the tracks would all have their various categories.
I can still see this but only in the "songs" category and in that I have to see every single song or artist alphabetically.
How do I simply see the artist, and that artist's tracks, as well as the different info about that track I want to see, such as "name, track #, time, year, genre, bit rate, kind, etc."
Please don't counsel me on what information I need to see, or suggest that I stop caring about this, or ask me why I want to see this various info.
It was simple and accessible in the older version and I would probably stop complaining to all of my friends about the latest version of itunes if I can see this old format.
Or... is there a way to re-download the old version? It's okay that you've made mistakes, every company makes mistakes, if I can revert to the old version that would be great.

You will see the familiar GENRES ARTISTS ALBUMS header, click on one artist and you will have only the artist's albums and songs showing in the window below with all the specific info you selected under View options. If this is not what you wanted, simply reply with a nice "no thanks".

Do we have a package App like " Ask the expert" updated for Apex 4.2?
I;m looking for a sample application like " Ask the expert" which was there in OBE some time back. The old package imported into apex 4.2 but the text search etc is not working for any new questions asked etc hence wanted to know if an upgraded version is available or why some function would not work?
is text search/intermedia search disabled in Apex 4.2?They got rid of all of the packaged applications several months ago. For a while they said they'd bring the popular ones back. Then they changed their mind and said the packaged apps would become part of a cloud service somehow. Don't know where it stands right now, I stopped checking.
The given reason why the apps were removed is because they did not match the new best-practices Apex security standards. I know that the 4.1 upgrade broke a bunch of my pages because of the new session state restrictions. Possibly this is what broke Ask The Expert. I've never used it, so couldn't make an educated guess. -
How can I ignore multiple clicks while processing the first one?

I am writing my first Flex program so I'm sorry if this is a newbie question.
I have some code which handles a click but takes a while to finish. What I want to do is proces steh first click but ignore any more clicks until the code has finished dealing with the first one.
Can anyone tell me the standard way to do this?
Here's a simplified example with a builtin delay. If I click on the button several times and then wait, the clicks are all processed in sequence and the test count slowly increases. What I want the code to do is ignore any clicks which teh user made during the two second delay but start handling new clicks after the delay has finished.

- JonThanks for the response Pramod. I tried to disable and enable the button but it doesn't seem to have any effect at all. If I click the button several times, this code still processs the clicks one at a time over the next few seconds. I am sure I am making a simple mistake somewhere here...
