HT1338 how to download safari 6 on mountain lion again after delete it

hi
I delete the safari browser by mistake , how can I download it again .
there isn't any download link on safari website

If you haven't emptied the trash, move it back.
Restore it from your backups.
If you saved the installer, reinstall OSX.
Last resort, download and install OSX again.

  • How do I download Safari for Mountain Lion?

How do I download Safari for Mountain Lion? It's not in the App Store, it is nowhere on the Apple website . . . OK, so I guess it is supposed to be part of Mountain Lion, but I am running Mountain Lion and whatever version of Safari I ended up with would not even run at all . . .  so I trashed it (or at least what part of it I was allowed to trash) and though reinstalling it would be a good idea . . . but I can't find one to reinstall. The latest version I can find is for Leopard, and of course that won't run.
Not to mention that since getting Mt Lion, iPhoto won't run . . . it produces an error message saying I need to check with the developer to make sure it runs with this version of OS X! So I wonder who the developer of iPhoto is, who produces software that is incompatible with Mt Lion???
And even in submitting this there is no option to tag it for any OS later than 10.7.4!!

Since Safari is crashing, post a crash report...   reinstalling the OS X rarely helps a browser crash issue.
If Safari has just crashed, press the Report button on the CrashReporter dialog box to view the crash  information.
Copy/paste the entire contents of the Crash Reporter window into your reply. If the crash report dialog does not appear or the crash is hard to reproduce, crash logs can be retrieved from the ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter> folder.
Please include the "binary images" section...

  • HT1338 How do I re-install Mountain Lion in my iMac?

I have the latest iMac 27" that I got last December.  I was wondering how I go about re-installing the IOS that is on the hard drive.

With OS X Lion or Mountain Lion, you just need OS X Recovery to reinstall OS X and do more things like restore Time Machine backups, repair drives, reset user passwords... See > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4718
To reinstall OS X, hold Command and R keys while your Mac is starting to start in OS X Recovery, and reinstall OS X

  • HT1338 How long does it take Mountain Lion to download?

I purchased the upgrade about 4 hours ago and it has been supposedly "downloading" since then with no cues or prompts.  How long will this take and when should I expect to have to do something to help it along?  Thanks very much.

Go to sleep. When you get up in the morning it will be waiting for you to install.
Tip: Before you install quit out of the installer, then go to /Applications/ "Install OS X.app" and copy the installer off to some other media, a pocket drive, another hard drive. Then double-click the "Install OS X.app" to do the install. This is because after it's installed the installer self-destructs. So, if you have another Mac you want to install on, or for safe keeping in case you ever need it again, save it.

please I need help accessing downloads that are avaialbe for software--I keep getting sent to a page to enter credit card info when I am trying to download free updates at the app store...

Part of stronger account security measures by Apple. If you want the update, free or not, you will need to comply. "You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile!"

  • Reinstalling Safari in Mountain Lion

I can't find how to reinstall Safari for Mountain Lion. The App Store is confusing as all get-out and I can't find any download link on the Safari page, just a bunch of blurbs telling me how great it is. Apparently the version I have has developed dementia and I would like to reinstall it. Can someone give me a clue about how to do this? Thanks. :-)

It's best to describe the problem, rather than your conclusion as to how it should be solved. Reinstalling is almost certainly not the solution.

  • Download OS X Mountain Lion

When you download OS X Mountain Lion, does it delete everything on the mac? I have many pictures I want to be in the mac, but I don't know what to do if it is not there when i have downloaded Mountain Lion.

Those of us who have been around a while using Macs and troubleshooting Macs know that ANYTHING can happen at any time. Hardware failure or software failure. When it does if you don't have a good backup solution your data will be irretrievable. That's why Mac has Time Machine built-in. Get another disk and begin using it. Or, for a bootable clone (the best protection) use SuperDuper or CarbonCopy Cloner
I keep both. The advantage of the clone is that when your hard drive fails you can just boot from the clone and keep right on working until it's replaced.

  • I just downloaded the newest update for mountain lion. After downloading and restarting for installation, I got a message stating that  the update cannot be installed due to an error. Yet when I check I have version 10..8.3 and safari version

I just downloaded the newest update for mountain lion. After downloading any restarting for installation, I got a message stating that the update cannot be installed due to an error. Yet when I check I have version 10..8.3 and safari version 6.0.3, which the update was for.  Does this mean that the update is iinstalled and the message was incorrect?

Good timing! Oh well, at least you shouldn't have to update again for a while. It will be nice kickstarting your Mac with the very latest System Update knowing any hiccups from 10.8.2 would have been ironed out if they were going to affect your workflow at all.

  • Ever since I downloaded OS X Mountain Lion on my iMac, the Safari won't often (most of the time) and I have to restart to open a web page.  What is going on?  What can I do?

Ever since I downloaded OS X Mountain Lion on my iMac, the Safari won't open.  It loads half way and then stops.  Same thing happens when we try to open a web page.  If I restart the computer, it will then work.  What is going on?  What can I do?  Help!

It will but it's only a temporary fix, ideally you should get a large external drive and move your photo library to it, do this (info)
Apple Menu>About This Mac>More Info>Storage, you will get a graphic that looks like the one below, post it here.

How long does it take mountain lion to download?

Forever! Wait about half an hour, if there's no progress in the download bar, you can restart to jostle it. It should pick up the DL from where it left off.

  • Im pretty sure i have a very old software version for my macbook pro, how do i buy or download os x mountain lion or snow leopard?

im pretty sure i have a very old software version for my macbook pro, how do i buy or download os x mountain lion or snow leopard?sof

Make sure you read the system requirements. Also install Rosetta if you want Power PC applications to run.
    Snow Leopard Purchase
Check that your computer is compatible with Mountain Lion/Mavericks.
To check the model number hold down the option/alt key, go to the Apple menu and select System Information.
MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer) model number 3,1 or higher
    Your Mac needs:
OS X v10.6.8 or OS X Lion already installed
2 GB or more of memory (More is better - 4 GB minimum seems to be the consensus)
8 GB or more of available space
If your computer isn’t compatible, you might be able to upgrade to Lion.
    Computer Compatibility - Lion                       Lion
Check to make sure your applications are compatible. PowerPC applications are no longer supported after 10.6.

    Do a backup before installing.

  • HT1338 Wanted to purchase and download OS X Mountain Lion.

I wanted to purchase and download OS X Mountain Lion but could not.  Message told me that I did not have enough memory to download.  I have 1GB of ram but they are saying that I Mountain Lion needs 2 GB.  Are they talking desk top memory or what?  I do have 17 GB of memory available.  What to do?

They are talking about RAM, not storage.  See this, http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1423?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US  It provides you steps to install more RAM.  Of course, provided you purchase that ram.
