HT1338 I can't find download files in my Mac. Why?

I use 13 inch MacBook Pro, but I'm not faimliar with Mac OS. Last two days ago, I removed the download folder from the Dock accenditally. After that, I cannot find my downloading files from my mail ever. I'd like to know how can I fix it? Software for my Mac is OS X 10.8.5.

Click the Finder icon -the leftmost- in the Dock at the bottom.
When the Finder window opens, click the Downloads folder to open it.
All downloads should be listed there.
You can rightclick the "Downloads" folder in the sidebar and select "Add to Dock"
to place the folder in the Dock again.

When you use Migration Assitant it creates another user account and puts your files there. Please log out of your normal account and log into the new account. Had you use Setup Assistant when it asked if you were migrating that would not have occured. You have a couple of options, combine the two accounts (not recommended) or start over, use Setup Assistant and have everything in one user account. When i downloaded files to default(downloads) i can't find the file.i downloaded file in folder it happened.it mostly happening for zip files.when zip files download as 'open with' winrar and other extractors i found it on 'temp' folder.my data balance are losing to me.plz help me

If your computer is tied to a network, then there is a way to check. Go to System Preferences, and click Accounts. unlock Admin
then you can click Login Options.
under that, Network Account Server. This should show you what server your computer is tied to. If you aren't in the tech department, you could try asking them.

Can't find downloaded files on desktop

I can't find files that safari automatically downloaded to desktop, they don't show in my finder when I go to desktop.
However, when changing the settings in Safari on where the files download to, I can see these files but can't access or delete them.
What to do?

Where can I find Visualizer files on my Mac?

I downloaded a few visualizers and one of them (Fountain Music) shows this error message:
"Fountain Music"could not load in 64-bit mode.
Try selecting Open in 32-bit mode" in the Finder's info window for iTunes".
However, if I try to switch iTunes to load on 32-bit mode, I get a msg which says that iTunes can only run on 64-bit mode.
I guess I should delete Fountain Music rathen than messing around iTunes itself. I just don't know where the file is located now.

You should find a new account on the Mac. Logout of the current account and log into the new account.

which broswer application you used in your phone? normally, there is download path setting in the broswer, the default path is under the "XXdownload" folder. If you use Nokia native broswer, you can try to check the folder "download" in C or memeory card.

Can't find downloaded file.

I downloaded a file. It didn't give me the option to OPEN or SAVE, it just started the download. After it finished, nothing happened when I double-clicked on the file in the Downloads window and the Open Containing Folder option was disabled. I tried the Search function by the file name, but still couldn't find it. Any idea where it could be?

Why can't I download files properly after Mac OS X 10.6.8 upgrade?

Recently I upgraded to Mac OS X 10.6.8. Now, when I download a file (example:jpeg) it shows up as: Name=Unknown; Kind=Document; Size=Tiny (example 20kb). Any ideas why?

If you uninstalled all the older versions of flash player on your computer....
Disconnect all peripherals from your computer.
Boot from your install disc & run Repair Disk from the utility menu. To use the Install Mac OS X disc, insert the disc, and restart your computer while holding down the C key as it starts up.
Select your language.
Once on the desktop, select Utility in the menu bar.
Select Disk Utility.
Select the disk or volume in the list of disks and volumes, and then click First Aid.
Click Repair Disk.
Restart your computer when done.
Repair permissions after you reach the desktop-http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2963 and restart your computer.
Install flash player, repair permissions again when done and also restart your computer.
If still having issues, you should post in the Adobe forums.

My name is marcus and a wonder about Sometimes can`t Garageband open my new song because it can`t find the files and I wonder Why ? It`s very bad then I am just sitting many hour`s with this song and save and closed the file, trying to opend up again but it dosen´t work, it can´t find it

Garageband find the all loops but not find the files as I recording with the mic.
