Have you tried contacting iTunes Support and asking them ? We are fellow users here on these forums, it could be due to a number of reasons, we won't know which one.

I have an article for you that can help you find some other ways to import those pictures from your iPhone onto your computer. You should try a couple of different programs that would import the photos into your computer. I just installed OSX Mountian Lion, and ever since then I can not play youtube video's. I get the message of 'Blocked Plug-in' in the youtube screen. I have tried installing Adobe Flash Player. HTML 5, also tried enabling/disabling java, but nothing worked out. Is there any way I can play youtbe vieos on Safar. (It works fine with Google Chrmoe, only safari has problem)
If you have the ClickToFlash extension installed, that can prevent Flash based video from streaming. Safari > Preferences > Extensions
It can also be installed as a plugin in /Library/Internet-Plug-Ins.
Try uninstalling the currently installled Flash plugin (required for most YouTube content) then reinstall new > Troubleshoot Flash Player | Mac OS
From your Safari menu bar top of your screen click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select: Show Develop menu in menu bar
Now from the menu bar click Develop > Empty Caches -

The message may be refering to Adobe plug-ins. To use Apple Preview to view PDF, right click on any PDF you have/Get Info. In the Info Window/Open with: Select Preview > Select Change All

We moved and our address has changed. Also our AMEX card identity has been stolen twice and AMEX has changed our number and security code twice already. Now i am trying to edit my account at Itunes. Every time I try to edit our account at Itunes, I get this message: "YOUR SESSION HAS TIMED OUT. TRY AGAIN" Anything i am doing wrong? ThanksI am having this problem too. I recently changed ISP b/c I wanted the iPhone, so I had to update my iTunes username to my Gmail account.
In fact, I logged in HERE using it as my new Apple Id... so it works!
But for some **** reason that is driving me nuts my iPhone will not connect to the iTunes store using my new Apple Id. It keeps saying my email has changed or is invalid and asks me to sign in to change it. So I do that, and it lets me in USING MY NEW Apple ID!!!! Then I go back out to the buy the App and the madness starts all over.
Come on Apple, do you want me to buy your apps, or what? -

Is the iPod Touch specifically stated as being compatible? Have you tried to perfrom a hard reset of the iPod with it still connected? To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

Why, if it told you you have insufficient space on your computer, would it suggest making more space available on your phone?
At a guess, you have insufficient space on your phone. Installing software will typically require more space than the final size of the software, perhaps even twice or three times as much, for the installation process. You can easily dump some videos or music temporarily, and then synch them back in afterwards.
