I have down loaded an App from the Apple store. I see the icon in the the finder folder as an Itune app on my mini Mac. Problem: can not open the App-Need assistance please? The app resides in the Finder application folder.
Works with ease on my Ipad.

Today when I start opening browser then its not opening. Does the both firefox and nightly wont work in a single PC ???? You need to take care to use separate profiles when using multiple versions of Firefox.

I can't install apps from my apple store, need help

Hi All, I have an iphone 3GS. I used to download free as well as purchased apps from the app store. For some reason I am not able to do that anymore. For example when I try to open my facebook app, it keeps on not opening it, last time it did that to me, I deleted it reinstalled it, but now I am stuck because I can not install anything from the app store. Pls help what it does it: I click on the app store, it will allow me to pick the app I want to install (e.g. facebook, then it gives me the option to download, i.e. 'Free' but the free is with a plus sign i.e. "+Free" then when I click on it, the "Install" appears but partially like "insta..." then am stuck can't install or do anything, anyone with idea on how to resolve this?
P.S. I have not upgraded to IOS 4

I have logged out and re-logged into the app store on my iphone.

Log out of the Apple ID on your iPhone.
Reset your iPad by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears.
Log back into to your Apple ID with the current password.

I need to download an app 'Imobile', when i trying its saying that its not available on US store you need to switch to India store, when i say yes to switch, and try to install its saying Your account is not valid for use in Indian store. You would need to set up a new account. In order to have an account in the Indian App Store, you need 1) a valid billing address in India, 2) a credit card billed to that address or gift card purchased in India and 3) to be physically present in India at the time of purchase.

HT6114 My Outlook keeps forcing me to Quit after opening usually I get 30 seconds then it shuts down. This has only occurred since I installed the latest version of Mavericks 10.9.2, I'm off to the Apple store to see if it can be fixed.

@Bee, there is no update patch from Microsoft since the 10.9.2 OS update. I'm not sure if this will help with the OP's issue but I found a fix for my issue. Just hold down the Option key when launching Outlook. It will launch a Database Utility that backs up the original identity and reloads it. It worked fine after that and all my emails were in tact (thank goodness).

I also use Nikon D4, D2H and D2Xs
I use Nikon Transfert 2, the latest version, to download my shots to my MacBook Pro hard disk in a picture folder. After this I use Aperture Import to place the New folder created in the Nikon folder in the Aperture Inspector folder... This way, I always have the copy of my originals files.
.jpg or .nef work fine.

I've just bought an AirPort Extreme base station and think I've been ripped off by the seller. Very upsetting.
His advert stated the following:
"It's only a year old, I think I used it for about a week in my old house. This is selling for £139 brand new, I bought mine at Sheffield Apple store."
I've just received the item and it turns out to be a 1st Generation model. Before I pick this up with the seller I want to make sure I have my facts straight so was hoping you can help to confirm my understanding:
1) This item is more likely to be 6 years old
2) This item could not have been purchased from an Apple Store a year ago
Any information that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.

I've just received the item and it turns out to be a 1st Generation model.
Manufacturing for the 1st Generation model originally began in February 2007 and was discontinued in August of that same year, 2007.
It's always possible that a "new" product sat unopened in a box for almost 6 years at an Apple Store, but it's also highly unlikely. The seller could bolster his claims substantially by producing a copy of the original bill of sale.
In general, the Apple Stores quickly sell any remaining inventory to make room for new versions when they are introduced, or return the older products back to Apple who in turn sells them to other vendors as discontinued models.
