HT1338 I've updated my software but still get message "Some plugins used byu this page are out of date". What do I do next to cure this problem?

Could be because recent versions of Firefox do not accept most plug-ins.
But for this there is a workaround:
Open Firefox and type in the address bar: about:config (no spaces) and click return. This gives you a warning that it might harm the application. Ignore that and click on 'I'll be careful, I promise' and you get the config file that you can edit - with great care.
Look/search (scroll down) for: firefox.plugins.enabled
Set it to true. (Double click it to toggle it)
Now close Firefox, open it again, and it now uses the plug-ins that Safari has stored.
As for Java, not many web sites use Jave and for security reasons you should turn of Java, but Javascript is another matter (and something completely different) and this should be left on.

RegardsI have also noticed the same "problem". I do not fully understand the impact of using the same ID on multiple computers and devices if I want to keep them all in sync.

Yes. Thanks. I misled myself based on another post. Successfully did this by selecting "File," "Save a copy ..." then choosing "for CS4 or later (IDML)"
It required some patience and several tries, but I think that was due to hardware (memory) being overloaded by CC Cloud version or something. It was a 50 MB, 500-page file and took 17 minutes to convert/save,
Re-capping: from CCloud to CS5, don't use "Export" (to IDML); use "Save as" or "Save a copy" and select "for CS4 or later (IDML)".

Why so I keep getting 'blocked-plug in' message! Very frustrating. Never happened before. related to Adobe Flash Player for videos. Have deleted Adobe and put the new Adobe on, but still get message. Seems others have had this same problem.

That would be problem number 1. The device MUST be connected to the Internet to download software updates.
I am guessing you are trying to download an iOS update, common causes for the error you mentions are Anti-Virus or Firewall software on the computer preventing files from downloading.
If this doesn't address your issue, try rewording your issue so that we can better understand the problem you are having. -

Try this - Disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update.

I got the message that it was time to download the newest version of Firefox. I clicked, and followed the steps. It showed to be downloading, and it checked for viruses, etc. But the message is still showing that it is "urgent" that I download the newest version or I won't be protected. When I click the "Help" and "check for newest versions" it shows me there is nothing available. What should I do next??

If you have downloaded and installed Firefox 3.6.13, you may have an incorrect user agent string. Some add-ons modify the user agent string causing it to show an old version of Firefox even if you have the latest version installed. If the user agent string is correct, how did you install the new version? You mentioned downloading the new version but did not mention running the setup file that was downloaded to install the new version. -
I am on a macbook pro running the latest version of yosemite. I was going to use Onyx to clean it, but I got a message stating that my startup disk needs repair. I command R went to disk utility to verify and repair and the disk was fine. However, I still get the same message when using Onyx. What should I do? Should I command R and reinstall? Will the fact that my startup disk needs repair cause a problem?
Thank you @EricRoot, I think you may be correct. I don't get that message with other programs. However, I did locate files on my computer taking up way too much space...

That's tight. Rule of thumb for a start up drive - the one inside the Macbook - is to have atleast 15% free at all times.
For getting rid of unnecessary stuff off the internal drive, I suggest you try Omni Disk Sweeper. It will give you a complete inventory of your drive, and purge what you ask it to delete. But be patient when it runs, give it time to do a full sweep.

Hard drives are not that expensive. If I were you I would invest in another external drive for your library. -
I Can not connect to wifi, I did all basic things like restart, reset settings, updates software... Nothing works please help!!!

It sounds like you have intermittent Wi-Fi connection if you were able to update your iOS to 7.0.2?

Thanks for the solutions regarding Firefox not opening, but I've tried all of them before posting to the forum and none worked. In addition to those steps I've also uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox three times. But that didn't help. Oh, I've also done a rollback to a date that preceeded the problem but again, no good. I' stumped at this point.......... -

You can check in the task manger to see if there are still possibly hanging plugin-container processes running after you've closed Firefox via Firefox > Exit or File > Exit and kill them if necessary.

I had to reimage my computer at work and had to install acrobat v9 again and now when I got to open it - i get the following error:
You cannot use this product at this time. You must repair the problem by uninstalling and then reinstalling this product or contacting your IT administrator or Adobe customer support for help.
I am the IT support / helpdesk - the product has been registered - I can see it in 'my adobe account'....

Please use the Acrobat Cleaner tool ( Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs ) to remove it completely from the machine.
Download the setup from : Download Acrobat products | 9, 8
and install and check.
