That's probably a bookmark you have saved in Favorites.
Tap bookmark icon>Favorites>Edit>Delete the bookmark

What more is there to say? I was given an address to use in a project I am working on. It does NOT include www in the address. Every time I try to get to the site, I enter the address and firefox inserts www into the address and if I click on it, I am informed that firefox can't located the site try again, maybe I misspellled it, etc. Since I copied it directly from the e-mail I was sent AND I have gone to that site using the link provided in the e-mail I KNOW I can get there and it would seem that the site exists.

I have an old apple id that i havent used for years. For some reason i have updates on my mac i cannot do unless i sign onto that old account. It uses an old e mail account i no longer use or have access to. How can i get to do these updates?

If you are seeing the old Apple ID with regard to this Mac, then it would seem that somehow you have incorporated the ID in the setup of this new Mac.
Iphoto i use never used imovie.
If you began using iPhoto without having Accepted it into your Apple ID, then that would explain why you are unable to update the app. If any of the iLife apps are used without Accepting them into your Apple ID, the ability to accept them will lapse and you will not be able to update them. -
When using my regular mail, I can hit reply or start a new email and can fill in the address line and the subject line. I cannot get to the body of the email to type my message. The curser will not go there and the keyboard does not pop up. How can I correct this so I can send emails when travelling?

TrudyNOh, ok. That changes my answer completely. The problem here is that Shawmail's webmail interface isn't made to work correctly with the iPad. Gmail works because Google made sure it works. You need to contact Shaw and ask them to correct this. In the meantime, set up your Shawmail account in the native Mail app on the iPad. Do this by going to Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars and take it from there.

IT'S BEEN OVER "TWO" WEEKS STILL CANNOT GET TO LOG IN PAGE VERIZON WEB E-MAIL!

I FEEL LIKE OUR SECURITY PROGRAMMING ISSUES ARE BEING IGNORED. THIS IS A VERIZON PROGRAMMING ERROR ISSUE. WHEN VERIZON TRIED TO CHANGE THE SECURITY SIGN-IN PAGE PROGRAM IT NOW GOES TO VERIZON WIRELESS SIGN-IN PAGE.
I GUESS THE ONLY WAY TO GET THIS ISSUE FIXED IS TO "WITHHOLD" OUR MONTHLY FEE FOR THE INTERNET PART OF OUR FIOS TRIPLE PLAY SERVICE.
VERIZON I LOVED YOUR SERVICE, HAVE BEEN A FAITHFUL CUSTOMER FOR YEARS, BUT MY PATIENCE IS WEARING OUT.

Indeed, your way works also. It would make sense my way doesn't work for you if you seperated your forum from your main account. Ironically, I have other sub accounts that have no issues login in to the verizon.net site. It is just the primary account. -
In mail, my attachments, both photos and documents, appear in the body of the message. How can I get my attachments to appear as a separate attachment and not as part of the main message???? Thanks for your help, Karen.

As Don already pointed out, exactly what the recipient sees will depend on how they've set up their machine and what unnecessary 3rd party apps they might've installed to display attachments the way they want.
In theory, that is true. In practice, Attachment Tamer will cause more of your messages to show up as plain-jane icons on the other end. The problem is, after all, people running Outlook 2003 and 2007. These people likely aren't doing many system modifications.
If I were you, I'd use the free solutions provided above, save my money and let my recipients decide how they will handle their mail.

I can't open mail, all I get is a white page with the 5 icons at the top right, the flag, folder etc. then the white pages disappears. I have rebooted, reset my iPad, still can't get mail to open. HELP anyone....tnx

This situation does sound very frustrating. I know that you have tried some great troubleshooting steps already and the issue remains unresolved. Have you forced the Mail application to close and then opened it back fresh? If not, this is the next troubleshooting step I would suggest. Please let me know if the issue remains unresolved.

I Cannot get my organizer to work for Elements 13. "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program......" is the error I get. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program and tried various other things based on the MANY other complaints with this same issue and nothing is working. How can this problem be corrected?

I cannot get subtitles on my new smart tv. I've read all the solutions online and none of them work. When I try to airplay the BBC i player by mirroring my iphone 4 the subtitles disappear when I change from iphone to apple tv.
That's because the BBC iPlayer app uses basic AirPlay to show the content, this means the original content is sent to the Apple TV for it to decode rather than mirroring the screen of the iPad where the subtitles are added.

I don't know how you received an upgrade for iTunes. You make it sound like it was sent to you. At most your computer will tell you of a new version and you tell it to download it and install it. However, a computer will not do this for a version which is incompatible. iTunes 10.7 came out a few weeks ago but your computer would not notify you and even if it did, 10.7 would refuse to install on your computer. So this part isn't making a lot of sense.
Two ways to get the 'newer version' message. One is to open your library on a computer running a newer version, and then try to open it with an older version. Usually happens when the library is on an external and used with multiple computers. The second way is if you have multiple versions of itunes installed on your computer.
The newest (and likely the last) iTunes for OSX 10.5.8 is iTunes 10.6.3 which has been out for quite a while.

I cannot get my iPad2 to communicate with a Motorola H700 wireless headset. The iPad shows that they are connected, but nothing works. I am trying to get the little microphone to show up for voice messaging.
I have since fiund out that the talk to text feature is only available on devices that support Siri, iPad3, iPhone4 and later. Hope this helps someone else.

I have posted in Mac pro Eplehust and Oslo in early June to change videokart (which has changed six months ago) got my Mac a month by mail, with the terrible damage the body, but the packaging in which he lay was not damaged. I sent him back to change the computer, 4 weeks, I changed it and checked 2 more weeks. as a result of three days ago, got back, more than half the programs crash, I can not open or closed CDrom, some programs do not come off or stop, and stop responding commands, turn it off only mechanically, not any excuses, I did not get to the store, what should I do?
