HT1338 Java 7 not updating on software update for mac

Java instructions say to click on "apple" and run software updates for the latest Java instead of using their download. Have no luck. Any suggestions?

I don't see the relevant part of the code i.e. where are you actually reading the system date?
You should also understand that a Date should NOT be stored as a formatted String. That makes it something that is not a Date, but some representation of a Date. Not the same thing. And you'll probably lose some precision in the process as well. The formatting should only be done for the display.
This means that you'll probably save the postedOn and closedOn etc as longs (by getting the time in milliseconds from the appropriate Date object). Then when you need to show that data to someone, that is when you use SimpleDateFormat and get a String that is in some appropriate form like mm-dd-yyyy or dd-mm-yyyy (and that's another argument for not saving a formatted String. What happens if the user is in the USA where the dates are conventionally written as mm-dd-yyyy?).

Software Update is not finding latest release (April 3) of Java 2012 001 Update on my iMac mid-2007, but it downloaded it automatically on my iMac mid-2011 yesterday. Both are running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3. When I try to download the update manually from Apple on my older iMac, it downloads okay, but when I try to open the dmg file, I get a warning message saying that opening this update may make your computer LESS secure. Do you want to proceed? (I did not).
Why would Software Update find this update and install it automatically on one iMac and not the other, if they are both running the same version of Mac OS X Lion? I checked the installed software list on my old iMac and the Java update does not appear there. Why would this update make my old iMac less secure?

Recall that Java is not installed as part of Lion.
You have to install it (and are asked if you want to) when you first try to run some java stuff.
Is it possible that the iMac 2007 does not have Java yet?
Try this: open Terminal (from Utilities) and type java -version (exactly like that, with the space before the hyphen).
What do you get?
Consistent with this theory is that the dmg thing gave you the warning - installing java might make your machine less secure because java is a means for bad guys to try to do bad things to your computer.

Flash not updating for MAC

So since last couple of month i am unable to use flash. There was a update for my MAC which i initiated but it use to get stuck at 50% and then i uninstalled it and install a fresh copy but now I cannot install at all, it keep getting stuck at 50% can anyone help ?

There are no more updates for Java from Apple for 10.5.8, the only way to get a Java upgrade is updating your OSX.

In Snow Leopard you update Java from Software Update (in the Apple menu). You can check your version by opening Terminal and typing
java -version
(don't get creative and type anything else)
The latest version is 1.6.0_65.

Mac Book Software Update not working, iTune will not update because of that, iPhone 4 won't connect to iTunes because iTunes is not updated. Mac v.10.5.8, iTunes v.10.5.2, iPhone4 iOS 6

Mac Book Software Update not working (Software Update does not have any new software for your computer at this time), my current MacBook version is 10.5.8.
As a result I can't update iTunes, version 10.5.2 (This software requiers Mac OS X version 10.6.8 or later)
Now when I connect my iPhone 4, version iOS 6 iTunes can't connect to iPhone (The iPhone "XXXXX's iPhone" cannot be used because it requiers iTunes version 10.6.3 or later.)
so in a nutshell can't use iphone 4, because iTune is not updated and will not update because Mac Book is not up to date and will not update either.
Please help.

Snow Leopard is a paid upgrade. http://support.apple.com/kb/sp575 Call Apple to buy Snow Leopard. Then, make a backup, insert the DVD and upgrade. When it finishes, open  > Software Update

Apple released J2SE 5.0 Release 4 on Tuesday, an update for Mac OS X 10.4.5 Tiger users. According to notes provided with the update the release delivers improved reliability and compatibility for the Java 2 Platform Standard Edition 5.0. With today's release J2SE 5.0 becomes the preferred Java version, superseding Java 1.4.2. Apple notes that Java 1.4.2 is still installed on the machine, but applications will run with J2SE 5.0 unless they specifically request Java 1.4.2. Message server information not updated for SIDs in SMSY

How do I get the message server information updated for systems in SMSY?
I moved a system from one server to another but the information is not updating for the Java stack. The informatoin was updated successfully for the ABAP, but not the Java side. I've reviewed the SLD information and everything there is correct.
In change mode the information is greyed out, so it's updated automatically somewhere.

He had recently upgraded from wht we now know is 18.0 to 18.1 which is the latest version. He read the above artic
le and supposed that it was a bug fix release for his version - because the v17 ov18 number is not often displayed. It is usually just 2014 CC.
I have asked him to post a bug report about Adobe Illustrator CC 2014.1

As of recently any photos I add to a shared photostream will not update for others and I don't see the updated photos on my other devices. Only I can see them from the device that i've posted from. How come others sharing this photostream are no longer getting the new photos? My iphone (the device i'm adding from) shows 20 pictures in this shared photostream and yet 4 other people that I share this photostream album with and my ipad only show 12 photos. For the past week I keep adding photos thinking people will see them but it just won't update the new ones. Any ideas how to fix this?

You can stop new photos being automatically added to Photostream in iPhoto from iPhoto preferences > Photostream.

I'm not sure what "Mail Update for Mac OS X 10.5.6" is. Mac OS X 10.5.6 is Leopard, a system that is quite old at this point. There have not been any Mail updates for Leopard in quite some time. If you are trying to install some old Mail update for Mac OS X 10.5.6 in Mavericks, that won't work.
If you are trying to install the Mavericks Mail update manually, that's not necessary if you have updated through the App Store. If the App Store shows no updates, you don't need this. (The error message doesn't make sense, and may indicate some other problem with your system, assuming that you were downloading this update from Apple's site.)
I'd advise you to start a new topic in the Mavericks forum and describe the problems you are having with Mail. Be sure to include specifics, but try to avoid speculating on causes, as responses that may be related to an inaccurate assumption on your part can cloud the issue.

Originating document number not updated for one invoice line item

We have a invoice document number in which the originating document number is not updated for one of the line items ,this is order related down payment invoice .May be this is due to system inconsistency so is there any SAP note to overcome this problem.

Question : Inspection lot status is not updating for Certificate Recived or not
                  My understanding is Inspection lot status should be :CROK -Certificate Recieved

Is the status in the GR document have the cert field set as 5?
Since you set the "certificate check required" you must do an explicit check of the cert. I included below the help screen from this indicator in SPRO.
You should be able to review the status of your cert in transaction QC53.

If you set this indicator, at goods receipt the system will generally perform as described in the field "Control without certificate".
This means that even if you confirm the certificate receipt at goods receipt, and thereby set the status "2 - Certificate received", the system will still perform as specified in the field "control without certificate". See Control without certificate.
You must explicitly check the content of the certificate recieved at goods receipt and set the status "5 - Certificate filed and inspected ", before, for example, the inspection lot status will be set to CROK.
You can confirm that you have checked the content of the certificate in the certificate transaction or when making the usage decision.
Note
If you have set the indicator and chosen an unsuitable setting in the field "Control without certificate", the goods receipt can be generally blocked.
This security function is generally used at electronic certificate receipt to check the accuracy of the certificate contents.

if you run this programe after loading data - RSDG_CUBE_VALT_MODIFY it is updating.
2. I am not getting no marker update option in non-cumulative Info cube 0ic_c03 manage tab or in DTP tabs check as per 7.4 modifications?
and 2LIS_03_BX in DTP I am getting below this option only
