I cannot download from Apps store, we have 2 Macbook pro and 1 IMAC27 and every things else works...Being stuck with a apps store that is not working is supprising as I am used to my Apple stuff WORKING!!!!

10.9 is free, so you could upgrade to that if you wished
if that's not an option for software compatibility reasons, you'd either need to re-install it from the original disks (that came with the computer, or a seperate iLife disc), a backup, or purchase a boxed version from someplace like eBay or Amazon (Amazon has iLife '11 for $39) -
Have logic Pro 9...can i get it from the app store for free?

Some years back I purchased a new boxed version of Logic Pro 9.
Should I continue to use that version, or would it be preferable in any way to switch to the app store version?
If the latter, then is it possible to download it from the app store without having to pay, since I am already an owner of the boxed version?

Check that your computer is compatible with Mountain Lion.
To check the model number hold down the option/alt key, go to the Apple menu and select System Information.
MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer) model number 5,1 or higher
MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer) model number 3,1 or higher
Your Mac needs:
OS X v10.6.8 or OS X Lion already installed
2 GB or more of memory (More is better - 4 GB minimum seems to be the consensus)
8 GB or more of available space
If your computer isn't compatible, you might be able to upgrade to Lion.

The OS X Lion installer takes more than 4 GB of space, so it is normal for most Internet connections to take the download more than an hour.
If you want to see the download progress, open the Mac App Store and go to Purchases.

When you set up your Apple ID, did you enter a credit card? That's usually all you need to do. Even for free apps. Also, the credit card need to be issued in the country of the App Store you use. Now, there is a way to set up an Apple ID without a credit card, but it's (IMHO) a good idea to have one on the account incase you ever do want to purchase a paid for app, or want to make an in-app purchase. I've had a CC tied to my Apple ID for several years now. Not once have I had a charge that wasn't mine or any billing issues whatsoever.

Apps that are written for the Mac OS cannot be used on iOS devices, such as the iPad. You can purchase the iOS versions of some of these apps in the iTunes App Store.

How can I delete apps from the app store? There seems to be every app I have ever downloaded and deleted since I got my phone in 2007. When I go to app store and select update apps there's a menu at the top that says purchased and when I select it it shows every app I've ever had! I would like to delete the history please.

iMovie was removed from my macbook pro after I downloaded OS X Yosemite, I had it before and have used it, but now I can only get it through the app store. I can't pay for it so I would really appreciate the help.
Look in your applications folder for the installer - Install OS X Yosemite. Delete it. Then go back to the App Store purchases tab and see if you can download it. You might have to re-index Spotlight.

So basically it said that I don't have a program to open it? I already had a trial version on my mac, but deleted it..YasmineH your web browser is blocking the installation of the AAM Detect plug-in. I would recommend using a different web browser or installing through the Creative Cloud Desktop application. You need a payment method associated with the country you are in. I would purchases an iTunes Gift card in the USA and use that as your payment method and then delete the card from the account. You may also have the change the addess in your iTunes aaccount t a USA account.

I understand Lion OS is downloaded from the Apple store and a hard copy is not available. Then how do you create a boot disk?

After Upgrade can't preview/download from the ITunes Store-I have internet
I just upgraded my ITunes and now am unable to preview anything from the ITunes store. I can listen to the radio from ITunes fine-I definately have internet-I've browsed through help and emailed for help! Anyone know what to do??
