The Arrangement tab only appears in System Preferences Displays pane if a second display is recognized by the system (the OS). So it seems like your MacBook is not seeing the TV as being connected.
Describe the video connection between MacBook and TV... What type of video out port does your MacBook model have? How is it converted to the type of port used on the TV?

I downloaded Firefox 4 onto my PowerPC G4, 1.67GHz running Mac OSX 10.5.6. When I try to open it I get error message You cannot open the application “Firefox” because it is not supported on this architecture.Use Tony's suggestion. I am running it right now and it is awesome. I love Mozilla but they basically screwed all of those older Macs over. Come on Mozilla. These Macs still work, and there are plenty of people with them out there.

There are a couple of things that you can do yourself before taking your machine into an Apple Store or an AASP... download and run an application named Rember that will run a RAM test for you - let it run for a couple of hours or even overnight. If it turns out that your RAM is faulty, Rember will let you know. If it is faulty, then you have a couple of options - replace the RAM yourself or (particularly if you're under warranty still) take the machine to an Apple Store or AASP and have them replace the RAM.
If Rember finds no fault with the RAM, then you'll need to take it into an Apple Store/AASP and get a free diagnosis on the machine. Three beeps do usually indicate faulty RAM, but if it tests good with Rember you likely have another problem - it could be something as simple as the RAM, somehow, not seated correctly or signs of another hardware problem.
Run Rember first... call back with results.

Itunes 11.1 is for your computer, not your iphone

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

I love Firefox, but I have spent a lot of time trying to find the download button to install on my new computer. Whaat am I overlooking, or has someone forgot to include the download option?
"Different by Design" is just "brand messaging" for the Firefox download page (shown [http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ here] and in the [[Installing Firefox on Windows]] KB article) for marketing purposes. It's possible that the browser you were using had JavaScript disabled (or you're using web-filtering software that blocks scripts) because when I disable JavaScript and go to www.getfirefox.com, the page I'm redirected to, which is http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/fx/?from=getfirefox doesn't have a green download button.

Macbook pro (spring -11 ed) cannot find the newly installed harddrive
A month ago my mac broke down. When I restarted it, it showed a folder with a questionmark on it. I restarted it again and tried to reinstall the whole operative system. Though, I found out that it couldn't even find the harddrive at all. Thus, I went to the genius bar and asked them what was wrong and they told me that I had to change the harddrive. It turns out that they were wrong since, now I have, and it still can't find the new harddrive.
My question is now: what's the next step? Do I have to change the logic board? If so, what's the cost to buy a new one for a macbook pro bought in spring 2011?Well, the computer stopped starting up at all. It could never find the operating system. I tried safe mode and virtually every other non-standard start-up option. I then did target disk mode with another MBP and got the message: "The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer." I then tried using disk utility and it couldn't retrieve retrieve the data using restore (writing to an external drive). I suspect that this means the hard drive would need to be replaced. In your expert opinions, is this necessarily true? Could this still be just a software problem, or perhaps some other piece of hardware?
Part of the reason I ask is that this laptop is now nearly five years old. It's needed a new battery for two years. If it's a virtual certainty that the hard drive is toast, I don't want to pay $150 for someone to take it out and try to recover any remaining data from it, only to reveal that the data is indeed irretrievable (since the computer itself is probably only worth $300-400 at this point). The nearest Genius Bar is also more than 2 hours away. Am I going about this the right way by using disk utility, given that the hard drive won't mount to the desktop of the other computer? If the hard drive can't be reat in target disk mode, does that confirm that it is the hard drive?

Oh also, it does still make the startup noise, even though I can't run the AHT since I can't get it to start up in safemode. I thought this mean that it passing various hardware tests. Does this not apply to the hard drive?
