HT1338 When I turn on my laptop, bellow the apple icon, the circle just keeps spinning. It doesn't want to load/come on. Anyone have any ideas?

When I turn my laptop on, it won't load. The little circle icon that usually spins while it turns on, just keeps spinning. I can't get into my actual computer.
