Had I known Aperture would not recognize the Fujifilm X Pro 1 I would have never bought the camera.

I actually use libnjb and kzenexplorer on SuSE 9.3.
The point I wanted to make is
a) that libnjb is reverse engineered without the help
of Creative.
b) that firmware updates take into account that there are
other OSes and therefore should provide bug fixing and
feature enhancements without being forced to use M$.
c) that the linux opportunity is there for Creative
to also differeciate themselves.
HP recognized it with their printers as lots of others did, too.
It just needs to open up the protocol for Creative to
leverage this market for almost no additional cost, as the
linux community is going to develop it's own management software.
The argument of cost over M$ doesn't get any better the
more often it is being used.
I strongly hope that some Creative representati'ves read this
here, too and take hopefully take action.

Suggestions online are
(1) reboot with cmd/opt/p/r This is not a solution but a temporary fix, a sign that Mountain Lion is not working well!
(2) reset the sound config in Audio settings. This works briefly, again a temporary fix.

sounds like 3rd party music then..
SO i would delete them from the itunes library and re add them to the itunes library.
TO test this out you should delete ONE SONG or ONE ALBUM and test that ONE SONG or ONE ALBUM only to see if they sync to the device..
are you using a windows or mac? Updated itunes?

Do you remeber the exact (or close to it) wording of the error message?
Try manually placing the iPod in Recovery mode and then try to restore
Next try DFU mode.

You can also try another computer to help determine if you have an iPod or computer problem.

Will not recognize the Lucid LG when connected with USB

My Dell will not recognize the Lucid LG when connected with USB. Both the computer and phone gives a split second prompt that they are connected but then goes away immediately. After reconnecting it several times however it will finally recognize the mass storage. How can I get away from the hassle of multiple re-connections before it finally recognizes that connection?

That's some helpful information about your issue samrmusso! Some recommendations that I have for you is to try a different USB port on the computer to see if it isn't an issue with that specific USB port. Are you using the cable that came with the device (recommended) or a 3rd party cable (may not support data transfering properly)? You can also try restarting both the device and computer and retest. If your on 10.6.8 like you should be for security/stability updates, somewhere along the line a later Bootcamp version was issued and only supports Win 7.

Thanks for answering. The version is XI.0.10. I just did the update yesterday hoping that I could now properly edit a scanned pdf document. Yes, it's happening on most all scanned documents. I followed your steps & found the list of fonts used in the document & then attempted to edit. The same occurs. When I type in a correction, I get an error alert... "the original font (in this case Fd 5805) is not available or can't be used in editing. Acrobat is using the font Minion Pro in its place."
When I select the text & right click as you suggested, my only choices are cut, copy, delete or select all, no "edit text".
I have no other options to choose another font. Thanks for any help you can direct my way.

If You Are Locked Out Or Have Forgotten Your Passcode or Just Need to Restore Your Device
1. iTunes 10 for Mac- Update and restore software on iPod, iPhone, or iPad
2. iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
3. iOS- Understanding passcodes
     If you have forgotten your Restrictions code, then follow the instructions
     below but DO NOT restore any previous backup. If you do then you will
     simply be restoring the old Restrictions code you have forgotten. This
     same warning applies if you need to restore a clean system.
A Complete Guide to Restore or Recover Your iDevice (if You Forget Your Passcode)
If you need to restore your device or ff you cannot remember the passcode, then you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and re-sync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. Refer to Updating and restoring iPhone, iPad and iPod touch software.
Try restoring the iOS device if backing up and erasing all content and settings doesn't resolve the issue. Using iTunes to restore iOS devices is part of standard isolation troubleshooting. Restoring your device will delete all data and content, including songs, videos, contacts, photos, and calendar information, and will restore all settings to their factory condition.
Before restoring your iOS device, Apple recommends that you either sync with iTunes to transfer any purchases you have made, or back up new data (data acquired after your last sync). If you have movie rentals on the device, see iTunes Store movie rental usage rights in the United States before restoring.
Follow these steps to restore your device:
     1. Verify that you are using the latest version of iTunes before attempting to update.
     2. Connect your device to your computer.
     3. Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch when it appears in iTunes under Devices.
     4. Select the Summary tab.
     5. Select the Restore option.
     6. When prompted to back up your settings before restoring, select the Back Up
         option (see in the image below). If you have just backed up the device, it is not
         necessary to create another.
     7. Select the Restore option when iTunes prompts you (as long as you've backed up,
         you should not have to worry about restoring your iOS device).
     8. When the restore process has completed, the device restarts and displays the Apple
         logo while starting up:
           After a restore, the iOS device displays the "Connect to iTunes" screen. For updating
          to iOS 5 or later, follow the steps in the iOS Setup Assistant. For earlier versions of
          iOS, keep your device connected until the "Connect to iTunes" screen goes away or
          you see "iPhone is activated."
     9. The final step is to restore your device from a previous backup. If you do not have a
          backup to restore, then restore as New.
If you are restoring to fix a forgotten Restrictions Code or as a New device, then skip Step 9 and restore as New.
