The currently sold version of Aperture at the AppStore, Aperture 3.6 is compatible with Yosemite.

If you are running any version of Aperture 3, you should be able to update to this version. Does the update not show for you?
The update has been shown automatically for those who had upgraded from Mavericks and been running Aperture 3.5.1. Other users, who skipped Mavericks and Aperture 3.5.1 have reported problems to get the update to show and needed to contact the AppStore Support. The update did not show, if the users tried to update from an earlier version.

You cannot. The apps are assigned to that Apple ID and there is nothing you can do to change that. You could choose to download them again with the new Apple ID, any paid apps will need to be purchased again.

If I understand correctly, then to add a new Section to a site, you have to subclass SubSection and somewhow integrate that into the system?
I would be my expectation that you only need to subclass SubSection when you tried to introduce a new type of SubSection.

There seems to be a problem, just now, with the USB 3 ports on the new MBP's supporting eternal USB 3 drives. Some people have no luck at all - can't even recognize the drive - and some are reporting USB 2 speeds (those who drives are recognized). I'd call a dealer such as LaCie or OWC to see if they have USB 3 drives that actually work with MBP's with USB 3 ports. You may have to wait for a software/firmware update.

Expanding on what deggie said, with an iPad 1 the app you're using must support video out. Only the iPad 2 can mirror the screen. The apps included with the iPad that output to external monitors are given here:

Hi, sill no joy with my sound on my iPad .the sound only works on one app ( Annie ) and the ring volume and it works for about 5 seconds after I switch it on . Was talking to apple and they said the reset my iPad and this will fix it .done this and it is still not working only with earphone and Annie. What next ?As they said this is unheard of as it was the upgrade to iso6 that caused this problem . Help

How can I update a Numbers '08 document to work with the current version?

I've had Numbers '08 for quite awhile (obviously). Have a few spreadsheets in it that I tried as an alternative to Excel. I've now got the most current version of Numbers but it won't open the spreadsheets created in the '08 version. I get an error message telling me to save them with Numbers '09, which I do not have.
Is there any way to get these updated to work with the current version? If so, that would be great, would like to try it out. If not, I'm just going to copy this stuff into Excel and be done with Numbers entirely.

This is a work-around - but also send feedback to apple that that is pretty low in the 21st century where people may keep data without opening it for a very long time - then need it desperately.

Export the spreadsheets to another format - CSV may work - then import into the new version.
Also you could try export to excel format and import.

i bought a wall charger from amazon for my Zen Vision: M 30GB, will it work with the (New)Zen? i just bought the Zen 6 GB and it doesn't comes with an adapter, pretty bad move there, well, does it has the same plug? i hope it's compatible. thanks

That third party adapter from your Amazon link is hard wired specifically for the Vision:M and will not work with any other Creative player unless it has the same pin-outs using the same docking interface. The Creative AC-5V adapters will either have a coaxial power plug connection that will work with most of the Creative hard disk based players, except for the original NJB and Zen Micro, or a USB Mini-B plug that will work with all of the flash players that have a USB connection and the Zen Micro.

Anyone got the new iPod touch 2nd gen to work with the fatman itube dock???

Recently for christmas I've bought a new iPod touch 2nd gen and it's awesome, everything is great about it - in my opinion; except for the fact that I tried to dock it on the fatman itube docking station and found it not to work. Before I used it I was aware that the 2nd gen is unable to charge on the dock however I didn't expect the speakers not to work too. All that happens is a message on the ipod comes up saying unable to charge with this accessory but doesn't put any sound output into the fatman, it just sits there blasting out it's own quiet internal speaker, and also strangely the remote DOES work too???
I've read on the net that maybe resetting the ipod by holding the home+stand-by switch for 10 secs but this resets and does not fix the problem...
There are many photos on the fatman website showing a ipod touch docked so it seems to be sold as working with it but who's to blame for this fault? Apple or fatman?? And does anybody know of a fix for it?
Also I tried my mums ipod nano with the fatman - works fine, and my firmware on the ipod touch is nice and up to date with version 2.2 so I can't see anything else I can do. This was my christmas & birthday present and at the moment I'm quite annoyed that all I can do to it is stick a mini jack in the headphone socket - not ideal since there's no video output or remote control that way!!!
Please give advice if there is any out there,

This is an Answer for a Possible Solution. It worked for me and is still working. The issue I was having with my 64 bit vista, was Apple Mobile Device Service was not being installed, I dont know why. But I disabled any active running program through MSCONFIG, to allow a clean uninterrupted install of ITUNES 8.02. This allowed AMDS and drives from ITUNES to install. Hope this works for most of you.
APPLE, please review your Support Methods. Re-installing doesnt help an issue that resulted from installing.

I tried to restore my iPod Touch after too many incorrect passcodes were tried. iTunes downloaded an update for 4 hours, but nothing changed with the iPod.

My daughter's friends tried to guess her password on her iPod Touch 4th generation too many times, and now she is locked out, and the iPod displays the message, "iPod is disabled. connect to iTunes." I connected it and tried to restore it. iTunes recognizes the iPod. iTunes said it needed to download an update, although everything on both the iPod and iTunes should be current. The update ran for over 4 hours, but when it ended, nothing else happened. The iPod is still disabled. How can I fix this? Thanks.

No way for us to know for sure (without similar product/issues) but the
HP Support site suggests that with the current Mavericks OS X 10.9.x
their drivers should be available through Apple Software Updates:

However that may be limited to certain models of printers or scanners that
already had been known to be working under OS X as of that date in a

Yet a driver for ancient Leopard 10.5.x may not be suitable for Mavericks 10.9.x
but the Gutenprint lead may be helpful to locate whatever may exist; or not.

Are there any Updates for Logic Pro 9 to work with Yosemite?

I updated my iMac to the OS X Yosemite 10.10 and my M-Audio Fast Track board does not work with my Logic Pro 9.
Is there a way or Updates available to make them work together? I work with music and I am LOSING TIME AND MONEY on this...

It's not Logic 9 that's the problem, if the M-Audio device is not compatible with Yosemite Core Audio (which I don't believe it is) no version of Logic will be able to use it. Before any upgrade of main applications or operating system one needs to check and see if all related hardware is supported. Hopefully you have a backup of your last working configuration.

Is it possible AT ALL to make fglrx work with the ATI RV505?!

I have an ATI X1550 graphics card based on the chipset in the topic subject... I wish my PC wasn't half-height, so I could go get a real graphics card.... but I have what I have for now, and I guess I should settle for it.
So, the problem in question is this: is it possible -AT ALL- to make fglrx make my ATI card "go", and...
* Work with OpenGL and not hang when OpenGL output is, more or less, "on".
* Not epically fail with Compiz Fusion running, and #1 not draw my background, #2 not update the screen unless I switch workspaces and #3 not hand anything related to graphics updating to my CPU, rendering EVERYTHING at about 1 frame every 2 seconds.
I don't have that card in my computer right now and probably won't for a while (unless someone can say "do XYZ, I have like exactly that card and it worked"), since despite only being 64MB my integrated graphics from Intel pwn the X1550 (which has 256MB, sigh) to bits in terms of hardware acceleration. Despite my Intel graphics (Intel Corporation 82845G/GL[Brookdale-G]/GE Chipset Integrated Graphics Device (rev 01)) not even having direct rendering (libGL error: dlopen /usr/lib/dri/i915_dri.so failed (/usr/lib/dri/i915_dri.so: undefined symbol: _glapi_tls_Context)).

If you're talking about streaming video and the video stalls on you, you just have to wait until the video loads enough in the cache before you start playing it or it will continue to stall on you. If you do not have a very fast Internet download speed, there's not a whole lot you can do about it other than to let the video finish loading before you start the playback.
