HT1339 During the restoration process, how long does this usually take?
I went to use my iPod this afternoon and had a blank screen.
I initially thought the battery was dead, but after about an hour on charge, I still had no screen.
I connected to my itunes and got the message the my iPod had been corrupted.
I selected the restore to factory settings option.
The inital status bar went quick, but now it doesn't seem like anything is happening.
How long will the restore process usually take?
Fix: Press center buttun and menu button at the same time for about 30 seconds, or until the screen displays the apple icon. This would be a "soft reset". I did not have to complete the restore operation.
Before restoring to factory settings, try the soft reset first.

How long does this usually take to install?
My photoshop has been taking a very long time and I wanted to make sure that I was doing it correctly.
Is this resolved yet? What operating system are you using? The progress bar when installing uses the first half for the download, and second half for the installation, so if it gets half way and appears to go no further, there is a problem with the install. Best practice in this situation is to restart your computer, and run the Desktop Application Manager as Administrator. (Right click from Windows. I don't know about OSX) That usually leads to a successful install.
Note that if you have tried to install and it has all gone pear shaped further into the installation process, you probably need to use the Cleaner tool

How long does it usually take to backup Adobe Premier projects?
When you go into the Project Manager and back up the project, so that Premiere copies every file involved to a portable hard drive, along with the project file, so the project can be opened and edited on a different computer, how long does it take?
I am currently backing up a project with over eight hours of footage in the work area so that I can continue working on it from another computer, and the backup does not seem to be progressing. I do not typically backup projects like this, I usually only save a new version of the project file, so I have no idea what to expect, and it seems to be taking a while.Usually till it is finished, give or take a few minutes.

It depends on traffic jams on the route (what are the specs of your system), the transportation means (what kind of portable hard disk and the interface), the amount of luggage taken along (how much source material and what codec), does one take a rest while en route or stop for gas (what background processes are running), etc. -

This is how you Reset - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. What model iPhone you have is completely irrelevant. How long it will take to download iTunes is dependent on the speed of your Internet connection.

How long does it usually take to get raw support for Aperture 3? Is it slowed by Apple or camera company. I only ask because Lightroom has support for nex5n raw but Aperture 3 does not. Also direct import into Adobe premiere and ability to edit in 60p. However, support for 60 p not as easily worked with in FCPX. I am just surprised Apple does not keep pace with these type of updates that Adobe does. Don't get me wrong I love and use Apple software when I can but I wish Apple was ahead of adobe in getting this support. I guess more of a vent than a question.

FWIW I agree.
Camera companies keep RAW specs confidential so firms like Apple and Adobe have to (sort of) reverse-engineer to develop RAW converters for each new camera. The good news is to my eyes/brain Apple usually does a slightly better job at it than Adobe does. The best RAW conversions (logically) come from the camera manufacturers.
Apple gives up market share with slow support for new cameras. IMO really DUMB. It has at least been improving...

The US Apple Store says that AT&T-model iPhone 4 units are in stock, which usually means that they ship in a day or so, though shipping at this time of year may take longer. Other resellers may ship sooner or may take longer to ship. As RG said, you'd have to ask whoever you ordered, or intend to order, from to confirm exact shipping details.

Have you connected it to your computer running iTunes? If you have and it's still displaying the connect to iTunes logo, then you need to troubleshoot why it's not being recognized by the computer. As long as that's on the screen, it isn't doing anything.
