HT1339 I plugged my ipod into the computer to charge & when I took it off to use it today it suddenly needed a password.  I have been unable to set up an account that is only mine, Now what can I do??

I plugged my ipod into the computer to charge and then, this morning when I went to use it there is a password lock (that I never set up) that I have no idea what it is.

Go to Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and setting. Then re-setup the iPod with your account/media. To redownload iTunes purchases see:
