I have an my moms ipod nano that she doesn't use anymore. I need to erase it and load all my itunes on it...NOW as I leave for a marathon tomorrow morning and my ipod just died. how can I do this??? HELP!!!

In our case, we are using the multiTaskFlow concept to dynamically start new TaskFlows in Tabs. The simple requirement is to have a generic way to inform users on modified unsaved data when switching or starting new TaskFlow
I did research in google for answers, but did not found anything working.
For example, I added following checks (df=dirtyFlag) just before switching between Tabs and Menu-items:

its for when you leave a view, not when you switch task flows in a page. To get back to your question, one thing you forgot to mention is what data control state is it that the task flows have: shared or isolated? If they have a shared state then only a single transaction is on and you should be able to tell the dirty state by calling

However, if the task flow is in isolated mode then you will need to get a handle to the data control frame used by that task flow.

When you connect the iPod to iTunes, in the summary page, what do you see in the Capacity bar?
How much is used for Audio, Others, video?
Most likely you have high usage of others, which maybe caused by incomplete sync Operation and the iPod need to be Restored.

Apps stop syncing after switching to a new pc

After switching to a new pc, I have complete the "transfer all my purchases from iphone", the sync finishes without error messages, the music/books get sync'ed but my app updates etc are not syncing even with manual sync. I know I can probably solve this by completely backup+restore my iphone, but is there any other way? thx.

Try deauthorising your PC and authorise it over again, this can sometimes clear a "not authorised" problem: About iTunes Music Store Authorisation and Deauthorisation

IPod mini new PC connection woes

Please help me out! I'm a frustrated uncle being nagged by his niece re her 2nd gen ipod mini and connection to her pc. Long time mac-user, so l've never encountered this kind of problem. I've tried the search function but this seems to be a problem not encountered before.
OK. when she plugs in her ipod to new pc (XP), it won't mount, recharge, or sync with itunes. she+I have followed the apple advice:

Nothing seems to work. Windows device manager says a unknown device is attached but ipod doesn't show up where you would expect, ie, desktop, itunes. She's reinstalled itunes but she gets the following error:
"one of the usb devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognise it."
Last week she came to visit and l plugged her ipod into my mac and it worked seemlessly. She went home and problem persisted. It seems her ipod will connect to her old pc but its faulty hence the new pc. Any advice welcome. If more windows details are needed, l'll ask her. sorry for the long confused post. What do you mean 'don't know apple iPod touch id-useer name and password, how do I create or purchase' ? What are you seeing on your iPod's screen, and what are you trying to do ?

If you want to create a new iTunes account : iTunes: How to set up an Apple ID within iTunes.
Or to create an account without giving credit card details : Create an iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store account without a credit card or other payment method.

How do I stop switching to a new tab when I highlight something and right click "search google"

So whenever a highlight a word and right click it to "Search Google for..." it switches to the new tab that just opened. How can I stop it? I've already tried going to Tools > Options > and disabling the thingie, but that only works for links that I open in new tabs. Not for the google searching.
So there any way to stop it?

Thanks - but I find it strange that so many options in Firefox that affect usability (sometimes it's the little things that matter) require us to ask in Mozilla Support, then find some hard-to-find setting in about:config!
While I'm glad this worked it's definitely NOT user friendly.
