HT1341 how do i fix printer error message,"rastertoescpII"
I am getting an error message when I try to print. It starts out "rastertoescpII" and says it quit unexpectedly and threads have crashed. I reset my printer (an Epson), and other functions including scanning, are still working. Any tips?

It sounds like you are unable to print from your computer to your printer. I would run through the troubleshooting steps in this article:

RichMail Help has some articles devoted to sending problems, e.g. “I can't send email” or “I can't send email because the connection to the server on port 25 timed out”. You may want to take a look at them in case there is something there that applies to you.
Something that usually works if you’re trying to use an outgoing (SMTP) server different from the one provided by your ISP (and in the case of .Mac in particular) is changing the outgoing server port to 587 instead of 25 in Preferences > Accounts > Account Information > Outgoing Server Settings. -

Two thoughts:
(1) Could you try changing a setting for your Garmin plugin. Here's what I mean:
Open the Add-ons page using either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Plugins.
Find your Garmin plugin change "Ask to Activate" to "Always Activate".
Your system information seems to list two different versions of a similarly named plugin. I'm not sure whether that is causing a problem.
(2) Does Garmin's documentation specify any extra steps to set up Firefox, other than installing its add-ons? -

Whenever I plug in my iPhone5 to my Macbook Pro, an error message comes up saying that "the USB is taking too much power and will be automatically disconnected".
Purchase a powered hub and plug into that and plug the powered hub into the Mac. Although an iPhone should not be causing those messages unless you have an older Macbook Pro.

Hello
I am using Photoshop Elements 8 on Windows 7 (64 bit). I have all my photos stored on an external hard drive connected by usb. The photos were transferred onto the HDD from a Windows XP machine. I bought a new computer so I installed Photoshop 8 and imported all my photos to the organiser from the HDD. I have also taken some photos yesterday which I have uploaded to the HDD.
Now, when I want to delete a photo I check the box to say I want it to be deleted on the hard disk and I get the error message: 'An error has occured while reading files or writing files to disc. The disc may be full or there may bea problem with the source media.' This does not happen with the photos I uploaded yesterday, only the ones which were put onto the HDD from the XP machine.
Please could someone help? I have tried the File>Catalog> repair and optimise functions. I have reinstalled the software. It still does the same.

Sorry, but I would have thought that this was rather obvious! The only device capable of being written to under these circumstances is your CD drive; after all, it's a CD you are trying to create...

The most common cause of these difficulties is the disks themselves - you only need a batch with poor reflectivity to cause all sorts of read errors, so that's the first thing to try - using a different brand of disk to write to. The second thing you have to realise is that CD writers have a finite life - the lasers in them simply don't last for ever, and towards the end of their lives the power behaviour tends to be a bit erratic, and it tends to fall off somewhat - which causes the same sorts of errors, simply because the dye doesn't get evaporated efficiently. This causes mis-formed pits, hence the read errors. The only solution here is to install a new drive.
When it comes to reading, commercial CDs have a much higher reflectivity than ones you write yourself, so often these will play whilst your own will fail - a common cause of confusion, this. But it's worth checking; if you get failures to reproduce all of the tracks from a commercial pressed CD, then almost certainly your drive is failing. -

The message came up half way through writing Track 5. So I selected a second set of tracks and got the same error message, this time at Track 3. I tried to play written CD (imation CD-R 1x 52x 700 mb). Opened the tracks using Windows Media Player. First time I was able to play one or two tracks, next time Window Media Player gave me the error message error message C00D0FAB. I have twice before successfully recorded the tracks using a Rode Podcaster, mixed them down and successfully wrote two version of my audio book. Now its not working. Any solutions?

Mac 10.6.8, iTunes 10.3.1 2.66 GHz Intel Core i7, with 4GB 1067 MHz DDR3. Error message occurs on wireless and when plugged into ethernet connection.

In Contents/Resources, double click the Adobe Flash Player.pkg
A "COCOA" Installer will open.
Folow the instructions to install Flash Player from there.
Then eject the DMG and you're all done.
