Good day,   i have concerns and problems, questions that i want an answer hope you can help me guys.. im Mark Alino from the philippines i purchase iphone 5s 32g gold color here at ayala istore cebu, city philippines since the date i purchase the phone i returned it due to a big hairline scratch in the middle of the screen and on the left side and i was so dissapointed. Afterwards the store tell me that i have to wait 15working days just to replace the unit and its been 2 weeks from now and i diddnt hear any feedback from them knowing the fact that i paid for thatb phone and its very expensive 40,000 pesos. please help me guys.. to solve my problems i think i have the right to complain or refund if they cannot gave the unit as soon as possible this is the contact no. from istore... please if someone read this pls help me im so down and please apple help me.

There is no one from Apple here. We are users like you.
The only legitimate iphone sellers in the Phil are the carriers. You probably bought a gray market phone that was imported from another country. Thus the warranty is not valid in the Phil. The store is probably trying to replace the phone by sending it back to the country they bought it from.
There is nothing Apple or anyone can do here. You will have to wait until the store solves your problem. If they do not, demand a refund. Good luck.

    Option 1
    Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
    If that fails:
    Option 2
    Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
    Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

    You need to convert the VOB files in the TS-Folder of the DVD back to DV which iMovie is designed to handle. For that you need mpegStreamclip:

    Obviously the foregoing only applies to DVDs you have made yourself, or other home-made DVDs that have been given to you. It will NOT work on copy-protected commercial DVDs, which in any case would be illegal.

    We can sometimes get past this particular message by reregistering the Windows Installer Service.
    First, launch a command prompt as an administrator. In your Start search, type cmd then right-click on the cmd that comes up and select "Run as administrator".
    If you have a 32 bit system
    At the command prompt:
    Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
    Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
    Restart the PC and try another install.
    If you have a 64-bit system
    At the command prompt:
    Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
    Type %windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
    Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
    Type %windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
    Restart the PC and try another install.

    Welcome to Apple Discussions!
    Maybe a long shot, but WD is not known for the quality of some of their enclosures, although I do like the drives themselves. It may be worth mounting this drive in a different enclosure, something like one of OWC's FireWire enclosures with the highly reliable Oxford chip sets. I wouldn't be inclined to trust a WD enclosure, especially if it already seemed to be acting in a flakey manner.

    I have 3 of these and I really like them.
    From what I understand, if the drive spins up, it is often possible to recover data from it. To be absolutely certain to destroy the data, you just about have to take a hammer to the disk. Hopefully, there will be a way to get your data back.

    Disable anti virus software.
    Apps such as Little Snitch, Net Nanny, and Hands Off can prevent apps from downloading including Mountain Lion as well as third party download managers.
    Keep in mind, for downloading Mountain Lion from the App Store, a high speed (broadband) internet connection is strongly recommended by Apple as noted here > iTUNES STORE - MAC APP STORE - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
    If you need to reinstall OS X or repair the the startup disk using Mountain Lion Recovery, that requires broadband access to the internet via Wi-Fi or an Ethernet connection. OS X is downloaded over the internet form Apple when OS X Recovery is used for reinstallation.

    Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
    Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
    If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
    Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove".
    Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try installing iTunes again. Does the install go through properly now?
    (If you do find a clean download site for the correct version of CleanUp, please don't tell me where it is. Without wishing to sound paranoid (although I grant it does sound paranoid), there is a non-zero chance that posting links to download locations for the utility here at Discussions leads to that download location being shut down.)

    Hi You may have a hardware fault take ipad to Apple Store. Ring then first to make an Appointment take box and you purchase paperwork they may give you A replacement. Before you do that Try a Reboot hold down power button & menu button hold both down until you see Apple Logo you may need to hold down for up to 30 Seconds But you may need to do this more than once. If it doesn't work take back to Apple Store. Cheers Brian
