My face time settings are correct.

Check Settings>FaceTime>On and Settings>General>Restrictions>FaceTime>ON. On the 4 & 4S FaceTime is accessed through contacts. Go into your Contacts, access the contact you want to FaceTime with and you will see a tab at the bottom of their contact card. You can also access FaceTime by going into your Phone app, select dialling keypad, dial number, press call and an option for FaceTime on the keypad will appear. It should be noted that FaceTime has been removed from iPhones sold in some Middle Eastern countries at the express wish of the respective Governments. Your phone is in recovery mode. All data on it are already lost. You must connect your phone to your computer and restore through iTunes.

I've been searching through many forums, and most discussions are several years old, and the fixes they describe don't work. I have an Airport Extreme network, a new one built this year (2012) with 2 airport expresses and 2 macs and a PC, and iPad in the house, an iPad that comes by occasionally, and they all work flawlessly. But there are 2 iPhones in the house, a 3Gs and a 4 that will not work. Occasionally they will log into the network, but that never lasts. Normally both phones say that they cannot join the airport network, if I use the wrong passwork, they say so. The network is using PPoe in order to use a Verizon DSL, and uses a wpa2 password if that has anything to do with it. Has anyone figured this out? Or is this something of Apple's that intentionally does not work in order to use up people's telephone bandwidth as fast as possible?

Have shut down phone and re-powered, have tried plugging into my iMac while signed into my iTunes acct. Can't figure out what to do next?

Just cloud the sync once, activate the comp to your apple I'd in iTunes, ensure all software is up to date, turn on home sharing between the devices and you can reinstall the apps from the apple id purchase history via download.
You basically cleaned out the canonical data apple uses to validate all that, which was backup data. Like iOS devices have the purchased option on the App Store now, syncing the devices via the home sharing and properly activating them will give your comp the purchased cloud and free up 10gs of space on the precious solid states smaller drives.

It sounds like you to 5 separate videos. If you start recording, then stop it, then start it again, you will have 2 videos. Not 1. As for splicing them together, you will need a video editing package for your PC. I don't know if Windows Movie Maker (or whatever they're calling it now) can handle this or not. On a Mac, I'd say just use iMovie.

You will need to connect your iPad to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy them over to your computer (that will copy PDFs and epubs that are in the iBooks app, not just actual ibooks), and you can then sync them to your iPhone. Or you might be able to open each PDF in iBooks on your iPad and use the share icon to email them to yourself and then use 'open in' in the Mail app on your iPhone to copy them to its iBooks app (if the PDF is protected then you may not get the email option via the share icon).
The Settings > iBooks > Sync Collections setting doesn't copy items between devices, it just means that it a bookor PDF is on both devices and you move it into a collection on one device then it will be moved into the same collection on the other device
