I assume you mean Quicktime 7 pro.
You may need to download Quicktime again (I can't remember if it's bundled with leopard or not)
QuickTime 7.7 for Leopard.
You can retrieve purchased registration keys this way:
Visit the Apple Online Store.
Cick "Account" in the upper-right corner.
Click "Downloadable Software Purchases".
Enter your Apple ID and password.
You should see your QuickTime Pro registration key(s).

Shut down the computer.
Disconnect all FireWire devices and all other cables, except the keyboard and mouse cable(s).
Disconnect the computer from the power outlet and wait for 3 to 5 minutes.
Plug the computer back in and turn it on.
Reconnect the FireWire device(s) (one at a time if there is more than one) and test. Test with each FireWire port if you have more than one.

* 512MB of memory (I say 1.5GB for PPC at least, 2-3GB minimum for IntelMacs)

iTunes has various components bundled with it that it requires for general usage. I advise that we completely remove iTunes and all of these related components, verify that they have been removed, then reinstall. To do so, please follow the steps in this article:

Note: it is important to remove the 7 components in order. Uninstalling these components in a different order, or only uninstalling some of these components may have unintended affects.

I had to reinstall Win 7 and PS CS5, and the updates fail even when opened using 'run-as-admin'. Why?If you are using Help 》updates, it is outdated. You can however go to Product Updates on the Adobe.com website and download your updates there. I am not at my desk b<t when I get back, I'll get the links unless someone else can do that sooner.

I recently updated itunes to the latest version and now the programme will not open.
I have tried all suggestions such as reinstalling the programme, rebooting you name it, nothing.
This most frustrating and completely unacceptable, especially when a company such as Apple touts itself being the leader in music technology yet does not respond directly to questions about faults in their system, but prefers to leave to disgruntled customers to try and sort it out amongst themselves
This not the first time I have had frustrating problems with the Apple system. Perhaps someone could suggest a more reliable system to switch to. Someone with a better troubleshooting system.Going all the way back to Firefox 3.0.5 is shear foolishness, it is 14 security versions behind the last 3.0.19 release. And that version is missing at least a dozen security updates that were applied to the 3.5 and 3.6 versions after support for 3.0.x ended.
If you are not happy with Firefox 4, you should have installed Firefox 3.6.17. That is very similar to the 3.0 and has all the security fixes that have been released since support for Firefox 3.0.x ended last year. -
When I tried to update to the latest version of itunes, I kept getting a message saying installation failed and if the problem persisted I should try to install manually. When that failed I uninstalled and tried to reinstalled, then I got messages saying MSVCR.dll is missing and could not open itunes. Any solutions out there?

Letterbox downloads and installs and is enabled, but does not produce the 3 columns in the mail window. I had the same problem with 10.6.7 and now 10.6.8. The download is the latest version (0.24b9) and the forums indicated that it works with both osx versions. I have tried deleting the letterbox plug-in and then reinstalling, but still no luck with the 3 column mail page. Any ideas would be most welcome. Thanks
i just fixed this on my machine running 10.6.8. the typical workaround is to add appropriate UUIDs, which get updated with each new os build, and break plugins (see here). Follow those instructions, but instead of adding the UUIDs they suggest for 10.6.7, add these (I found them on my machine running 10.6.8, and they work):

I just uninstalled it and am waiting for it to reinstall. I sincerely hope that I have not lost everything that I worked on so hard. Now that mobile me is gone, I have not been able to go between devices to transfer things. I was merely trying to take a document I had worked on and open it in pages, but it said my version was too old. When I updated, it wouldn't load. Now I cannot do anything. I have had nothing but problems since I installed the latest version of Firefox version 18. It hangs up my computer no matter what I am doing. Even if I am not using the browser. I uninstalled it three times and the problems just seemed to be getting worse. I finally uninstalled it and did not reinstall it again. I am not going to use it again until the problems are fixed. I also don't know what funmoods is or whatever it is that replaced my google home page. I don't like software deciding what services I should use. I have been a firefox user for over 15 years. I have never had problems like this before. I have switched to Safari. It works without interfering with the other tasks I am doing on my computer. I don't know what version 18 did but the previous version of firefox I was using was perfectly fine. I had no problems whatsoever with it. It appears as if this version was not sufficiently tested. Also my daughter is having the same problems with her computer and they all started with the new version. So it isn't just me. At least give us the option of going back to the previous version and asking us if we want to upgrade when a new one comes out. However, I have never had these problems in the past with any version of firefox I installed. I like the features of firefox but cannot afford to keep rebooting my computer. It seems that firefox gets hung up and then hangs the computer up and I can't do anything else even if I am not using it. It seems to stay on in the background and hang everything up. Please fix this.
It most definitely is the browser that is causing most of the problems. I have used Firefox so long, I can't even remember. Maybe since its beginning. But today is a sad day. I gave up on it. I can't accomplish anything and end up spending hours troubleshooting. I see I am not alone. I am so sick of it "not responding." It's simply not worth it to spend so much time trying to make the thing work, so I can actually do something. Installed, removed, reinstalled numerous times, and I can't fix your software on my Win 7 Pro machine. No problems with IE or Chrome. So. as much as I hate Google Update, Chrome has won the test. Sad, sad day for me to lose Firefox, but it just does not work on the Win 7 machine. I don't have the same issues with the XP machine and have exactly all the same add-ons. Keep it up developers and you will have no Win 7 users at all.

I my macbook pro will not recognize my iphone. I had the AppleStore, re-install my original software a month or two ago, but since they did this, my computer cannot recognize my Iphone it is telling me that I also need to download the new version of Itunes, but keeps telling me my system isn't running the correct software. I am using OS 64 bit Windows Vista Home Premium and recently updated the latest version of iTunes. (I only have this CD burning software on my Laptop). Ever since updating, I received the message 'Registry settings for the iTune drivers are missing for CD burning'. The drivers for Lower and uppper filters in the registry are missingand I now have no optical drive. I have unistalled and reinstalled Itunes and manually entered the filters. Have tried everything including something called GEAR driver installer which was suggested on several technical sites. Everything was working fine in iTunes until I updated it.. It's strange I can still import music but not burn?? Friend s have told me they have ha dthe same problem when updating iTunes but resolved the problem by uninstalling/reinstalling or altering registry keys.

This is a copy of ONEof the keys in the registry I changed as told by Apple support today. I also have changed others as instructed by GEAR software support to manually delete GEAR drivers (that I had installed but couldn't delete some of the others they mentioned from Windows system 32. Then some bright spark at work told me I need the Gear drivers so I downloaded the software and installed again.

When I start itunes up and click on a movie I get an error message: saying something about Quicktime error! How can this be if I have the latest version.
I'm running Windows 7 on a desktop and before the upgrade of itunes every movie played. Today I bought a new movie and it said I needed the upgraded version of itunes for it to play. What a mess. Any help appreciated.had similiar problem with update in september. did the uninstall and reinstall procedure twice and still no luck. finally I just dragged the movie ontop of quicktime and dropped. clicked the play button and movie played fine. hope this helps.
