I replaced my iPhone 5 with an LG F6 phone and now I cannot receive text messages from my friends with iPhones. Can somebody please tell me where to go to turn off the "Find your phone" feature and what ever else I need to turn off to accomplish this objective? Thank you.

Find My iPhone has nothing to do with receiving or not receiving text messages.
What you should have done is turn off iMessage prior to handing over the device.

There is no Info tab in Mavericks

Help Me please! i dont have an Iphone anymore. I cant receivce texts on my new phone. I have talked to apple support and they said all they needed to do was deactivate my i message and they did and i still cant receive messages. Can someone help me. This has been ongoing for days and everytime im told it will work it still does not.

So in order to update your iPhone, you may need to turn off Find My iPhone. This can be done through the iCloud settings, and more information on those settings can be found right here:

If you registed it with a support profile, try going to https://supportprofile.apple.com/MySupportProfile.do and unregistering it. Also, you can try changing the password associated with the Apple ID you were using for iMessage.

Cannot get turn-by-turn directions via car bluetooth. Do I need to turn off the car radio? I have a 2012 Camry.

I can confirm that Google maps and Navigon give Turn by Turn instructions via Bluetooth in my iOS6 iPhone 5. Maps does not.

You can try to clear the cache and cookies to see if that makes a difference:

What does "the registration won't let me" mean? If the serial number is rejected, contact support by web chat. for anything else you need to provide proper technical information and actually explain your issue.

If you cannot track it via iCloud, then you unforunately out of luck and will have to hope for the best. You can try and retrace your steps as well. There is no way to track it.

Just called in Apple Care for the same issue. All you need to do is go to the itunes file scroll down to the bottom where you will see the cammand Transfer purchases from " insert your name"iphone. It will automaticly download your purcases to itunes and place it under Purchases,it will also place the movies and shows in the apropriate folders in itunes. In addition there will also be an additional folder under Store in itunes that will list the purchases under the device it was puchased under for example Purchased on Pinkiesipone
