I have changed my password 3 or 4 times in the last hour. I still cannot get into the apple store to download a new free app. What is my problem?

Troubleshoot issues on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General >Date & Time.
Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.
Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General> Software Update (iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking Check for Update on your device's Summary page.
Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check theuser guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.
Make sure that other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router.
If the issue persists, try troubleshooting your Wi-Fi networks and connections.

My 1 year and 1 month old iPhone 4s developed a WiiFi fault which it was not possible to resolve. I visited the Apple store in Brighton for the assistance of a Genius. He too was unable to resolve the fault. He said that as the phone was over a year old that there was nothing that he could do for me as the phone carries a 1 year warranty. He offered to sell me a reconditioned iPhone 4s as a replacement. This cost me a further £150.00. I was/am still paying for the phone through my contract, the phone that I no longer have!
A work collegue had a similar fault with his iPhone, although his phone was older by approx 6 to 10 months. He did what I did and visited the local Apple store to see a Genius and was straight away offered a brand new replacement phone for no additional payment.
Has anyone else had a similar experience and does anyone have any advice? I am furious about this double standard of customer support! And I can not find a way to email to Apple directly for customer service advice!

Thank you for your advice. If I lived closer to the store I would do just that. By using the forum it was not my intention to breach any TOS.
I speak to collegues and people advise me to email to Apple. They say that Apple always looks after its customers. I only wish to find a way to email to Apple to see if there is anything that they can do for me. I suspect not.
You regular forum users appear to me to be well versed Apple device users and as such maybe you could point me in the right direction to be able to email to customer support as I can not find a link!

Nobody here could possibly answer your question as presented. Have you tried any troubleshooting steps at all?
Quit the app store completely and reboot the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that doesn't work ... A few more details from you might help you get your problem resolved.

We have no information as to inventory or display models.
Since the Smart Cover is available for iPad 2, I think you can count that at least.

I ended up smashing my phone and could update all other stuff on restore but cant sync any music. It is all grey at the top of the screen. Ive re installed itunes and cleared all phone data. I'm having a similar problem. I had previously (over a year ago) purchased 2 episodes of Law & Order. Then about 2 months ago, I purchased the 3rd season of Sons of Anarchy. When I downloaded these episodes to my iPad, about a dozen full seasons of various shows popped up, too. No money was removed from my iTunes account & theses particular shows aren't in my iTunes library on my desktop. I've tried every which way to delete them from my ipad, but can't. If you have an old ID in Settings>iCloud as a result of updating to iOS 7, to change it you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change (you should need to verify the old account). Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Sounds like you have a phone that was hacked to unlock it. Updating has re-locked it to the original carrier. ONLY the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it. Contact them.

You should have restored the backup that was on your computer before syncing. Now it is too late. However, if you followed the instructions in the manual and set up an app on your computer to sync contacts and calendar to they will still reside in those apps. Photos in the camera roll are lost, however, if you had followed the instructions in the manual to copy photos from the camera roll to your computer regularly you can restore them to the photo app from the copy on your computer. Text messages are gone for good. Music and Apps should be in the music library on your computer.

Based on this issue, I have contacted Rogers. The procedure was very time consuming as I spent over 4 hours on the phone with multiple service reps, supervisors, and managers. This has cost me over $40 in long distance charges just for this phone call. In addition, they made me aware that I was sold an iPhone 4s that was locked to Rogers. Rogers charged me $57 for this unlock, and they said they could not waive this fee because it goes through apple. The typical procedure when apple sells locked phones, is that a replacement phone would be given to me free of charge by apple. I just do not understand why the service rep told me that the phone was unlocked, when actually the supervisor at Rogers confirmed that this device was originally locked to Rogers (traced from imei). I deserve compensation, and would like to hear a prompt response from apple with regards to this matter.

I have an ATT corporate account. My contract is set up so my account is fully serviceable at Retail stores. I went to ATT store on launch day, waited 45 minutes, got to the counter and low and behold the salesperson says they cannot access anything on my account.The screen is grayed out. So I leave disappointed. I call ATT Business Dept and they say that there is no restriction and I should have been able to buy a phone. I went back to the ATT store today and the same sales person gets business dept on line, checks the computer and it shows I can buy any phone including the iphone they are now out of. He has no explanation. I should have made him call yesterday. I ordered one from my Premier website but need another one. Can I get one from my local Apple Store that has phones in stock or will they shut me out as well??

You can not get an iPhone at Apple with a corporate account. You have to go to an ATT store to do that. Also- your data is going to cost 45 dollars instead of 30 dollars with a corporate account.
If you try to get an iPhone at an Apple store and you have a corporate account, it will kick your registration out of the Apple computers and they won't even be able to complete the sales portion of the transaction.
