I just bought new iPad from UAE and discovered no FaceTime application after that. I want to know does anybody know how to get this application?

You cannot download FaceTime or any of the preinstalled apps on the iPad.

Your iPod comes with a 1 year warranty which covers manufacturers defects. Unless you bought some sort of insurance specifically for your iPod or it's covered under your renter's/homeowner's insurance, they only way you're going to get a new one is to buy one. Sorry.

i recently had my ipod touch fall in water for a few seconds, and since then my touch screen will light up dimly, but is unresponsive. the unit works for sync on my computer, as well as playing on my bose sound dock. only the touch screen seems affected

If the liquid damage has occurred recently you should try to dry it completely before attempting to use it. Have you tried putting the iPod Touch into a bag/bowl of uncooked white rice? That would help to pull all the remaining liquid out of the iPod.
If, after that the iPod's screen is still not responsive then it's something you may need to have repaired or replaced.

Once the Lion download is complete quit the installer and follow these directions. The file you need to make a boot disk disappears after you install Lion.

However, the Lion installation includes a recovery partition. It won't be of help if your entire HD dies but is very handy otherwise. This Knowledge Base article has a lot of good information about Lion's recovery partition.

For that i need to use the app store link of my application for sending it . is there any way to get that and using it dynamically in my app immediately after releasing it.

Your best bet would be to create a web page of your own for the app. Design that page so that it uses 'META REFRESH' to redirect the visitor straight to the App Store link.
That way you can hard-wire your own web page address into your app.
This has the advantage that it can work well even before you've noticed that your app has arrived on the App Store. Create a real web page, describing the app and telling people to search for it in the App Store by name - then replace it with the auto-redirect page when you've discovered your application's App Store address.

Whoever thought this new search box GUI was a good idea was mistaken IMHO.
I've used the method shown above to return it to the old constant icon/text display with instantly available drop down of my alternative chosen search engines. All back to how it was in the previous version. Yay!
Displaying the chosen default search engine icon/text in the search box just seems a better and more sensible GUI feature to me than needing to hover over the box to show the same information (minus icon) . As for having to start entering search terms before the other search engine options become available - that is just plain ill conceived design.
The old design is more user friendly and should be the default setting but if some users want the new GUI for the search box why not include that under Tools > Options?

We have tried to send Verisign certificates generated using JSSE, but they complain that the certificates are corrupted. After several conversations with them, we believe that the problem may be that not only do they require the key algorithm to be RSA, but they also require that the signature algorithm be SHA1. Well, when you specify RSA as the key algorithm, the keytool defaults to MD5withRSA as the signature algorithm.
If you try to override that default by using -sigalg and telling it to us SHA1withDSA (which they claim they can accept) then you get this error:
keytool error: java.security.InvalidKeyException: No installed provider supports
this key: sun.security.rsa.RSAPrivateCrtKeyImpl
So, is there a way to use JSSE to generate a certificate that can be signed by a CA (in this case Verisign)?

I think that might be correct as someone else suggested doing that too in the security forum.

This may sound silly but I wasn't expecting the high res anti glare macbook pro to not have a glass cover over it. to many this might not be an issue, but I need to be able to use a digital drawing pen over top the surface of my monitor. My previous macbook was the first of the unibodies from 2008 and that works fine. But I guess I should have gone with the hi res glossy. So are there any solid screen protectors available or am I going to have to see about returning this computer. :|

Why don't you instead just use a piece of rounded edge glass in the rare times when your doing that?
Your one of the very few that has to actually draw on their screen, most use a drawing pad Walcom tablet, iPad or import a scan or image into Adobe Illustrator rather than hold their hand up to the screen for hours.
Don't you know you can command shift 3 or 4 to snapshot a image of anything on the screen? SnapZ Pro X will record video?
Seems to me your doing things the wrong way.
The anti-glare MacBook Pro is awesome when you take it to various places and can still see the screen and can't adust the enviroment to suit.

I've really messed and have never backed up or synched my ipad with IOS 4.3.5. I have heard that I will have to use software other than Apple's to accomplish a backup. I've already tried to go through Itunes with the ipad attached to my computer, but, of course, no go without erasing everything. Can someone give me advice about alternate software. I realize that once the backup is complete, I will need to update my IOS. Will I then be asked if I want to restore from the backup?
