HT1349 My game center is messed up. Help?

I cannot log in to Game Center on my iTouch whatsoever. I put in the correct Apple ID yet it says it's wrong, I have reset it four times and it doesn't accept it. The App Store and iTunes accepts my password normally but Game Center doesn't.

Since it's not possible to actually delete Game Center, I can only think of two things: either Restrictions are enabled that stop it from appearing, or it's been moved to a folder or home screen where you don't expect to find it.
The first thing I'd try is opening it using Spotlight or Siri. If you say to Siri "Open Game Center" and it doesn't know what you're talking about, then it's probably restrictions that are blocking Game Center and stopping it from appearing. Similarly, if you don't see it when typing its name into Spotlight (the home screen at the far-left that is darker than usual, and which has a Search bar for you to type the names of things you'd like your iPad to search for), then this again points to restrictions.
If Siri and/or Spotlight can see it and open it without any problems, though, then it's definitely still there - you'll just have to go hunting through all your folders and home screens until you find it. If it just seems to reuse to open no matter what, then check your Restrictions settings (in the General section of the Settings app).

Forgotten/lost Game Center cred's, pls help

RRecently my iPhone 5 slipped out of my pocket, fell and apparently damaged the mother board. Got a new phone but I realized that my Game Center credentials I used to play clash of clans I have totally forgotten what it is, for years I've been using a different login so that old one is long lost to me. I still have the phone, it's just not working. I've spent an embarrassing amount of money playing this game and I really would like to recover it. Is there anyway I can go about this? Can I even fix the iPhone 5 with a bad mother board somehow? Thanks in advance

For the benefit of others, I'll explain how I fixed this...
For some reason, when I upgraded my iPhone, my iPad signed in as my current iTunes Store ID. I had been using a different gash Apple ID (this one in fact for apple discussions since 2005) for Game Centre on my iPad.
So others who may have lost progress, check the actual account you are using and try other Apple IDs in Game Centre. Hope this helps.

I want to delete my Game Center user because of some games which have saved data remainig there.I want to start the games all over again, but when I delete the games and related data on my iPod the data is further on the Game Center!!..help?!

1, you can't at the moment, though with iOS 5 in the Autumn, from http://www.apple.com/ios/ios5/features.html#photos :

2, by removing it from you synced from and re-syncing. Only photos taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites etc can be deleted directly on the iPad (either via the trashcan icon in the top right corner if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the icon of the box with the arrow coming out of it in thumbnail view)
3, the location of the photos that you synced to the iPad should be listed on the iPad's Photos tab when connected to your computer's iTunes.
4, you can copy the photos from your iPad to your computer : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 . You should also be able to delete them from the iPad as part of the transfer process to your computer, and it's then your choice whether to add them to your sync photo list so as to copy them back to the iPad. Copying them to your computer would allow you to organise them into folders and therefore be able to sync them back into separate albums.
5, I don't use Dropbox either. There are some third-party browser apps in the iTunes App Store that allow you to download pages so that you can view them when offline e.g. Atomic Web (the whole page is saved within Atomic Web, it doesn't place a photo into the Photos app)
6, deleting content should help. If you remove an app from your iPad then you also remove the content that it's got on the iPad - so if you then decide to reinstall it back onto the iPad then you will need to manually add back any content that you want in it. None of the Apple built-in apps (including Photos) can be removed from the iPad

Issues with game center after updating Ipod! Please help

After updating my daughters Ipod touch it wouldn't let us login to her game center account. Is there a way to look up her apple id for game center just by her game center name and nickname? When we login with her email address she had to create a new nickname and everything however we have previous emails from friend requests. Can anyone help us? I don't know what else to do she doesn't want to loose all the games that she has been playing for months. It's weird how it says her email is a new apple id when that is what she used before to create her game center account. All help appreciated. Thanks.

Try holding down the sleep/wake and home button until iPhone shuts off. Then hold down the home button while plugging into your computer. Your iphone is now in recovery mode. iTunes will detect this, and you can attempt to restore/update from there.

Multiple Game Center accounts in one Apple ID

Is it possible to have more than one Game Center account under one Apple ID? My wife and I share an ID, but want different accounts so that we can play each other. It must have been possible because we were somehow doing that before IOS 6. If I log on using the apple ID I am in my wife's account and I can see me there as a friend, so the account is there. I just can't access it. I really want to challenge people, with the Game Center update! Please help.

HT4314 Can you delete game date on a Game Center account?

I'm new to this but basically I want to restart a game I'm playing (Animal Voyage - Adventure Island), I have tryed resetting my Ipad and uninstalling the game but it keeps taking me back to the same point of the game, so I'm assuming its because the data is saved to my game center account.
Any help much appreciated.

Apps are always tied to the Apple ID that was used to purchase/download them. They can't be transferred/shared with another Apple ID.
Since you will be the user of the app, just purchase it.

Game Center Accounts

I was wondering if anyone can help me - my son set up a Game Center account 2 years ago when he got his iPod.
It was, of course set to my itunes account, associtaed with my email address, etc.
Well we recently switched all our cells to iPhones and now when i use Game Center, it is set to HIS player id - but connected to my account info.
I am unable to access my fb friends to add to games I play because of this.
Is there a way to allow him to keep his id - but set one up fro me on my phone? And if so, will I loose the game info I have already set up and been using?
I only play the one game Hay Day on the Game Center, btw.
Any help would be much appreciated.
(Oh, I have an iPhone5 if that matters)

After taking the chance of losing stuff - I went ahead and changed the player info on my device, puting my info - my son hasn't yet cecked on his ipod if he is able to access the old info - bt it seems that I just replaced an existing name with a new one and that the account info remains the same, attached to my original email address.
I was able to go right into my Hay Day game with no loss.

My game center id used by another one. after that i changed my password. but he is still operating my game center account. i just knew it when i go to play my game Clash of Clans and my exp is 114 now...he is giving a lot of bad words by using my game id. what is the process that he will automatic log out from my game center id? When ever I try to log in my Game Center account it says cannot connect to Game Center! I need help!

Reset your phone and try it again. Hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go.

each ipad has their own email address setup, even though they can see all 3 email address...
why does the game center id no longer keep its own game center id?

If you are using the same Apple ID on both devices, the Game Center profile should be the same.
Check out this information from the iPad User Guide. Try signing out of the Game Center on both devices and then sign back in with the correct Apple ID:

that's the issue, you bought the OS online so Donald is right, it is being mailed to you. post the URL where you bought it.
the 'app store' is an application running on OSX itself where you can DL software.
so, you have to wait for mountain lion to arrive.
if you want to get a clean OS on your machine now, do this
reboot holding down command/option/R (hoping your machine supports this)
open disk utility, erase your HD so you have a single mac journaled partition
choose install OSX on this HD
let it run. from what you said, you will be back on lion.
