Suddenly stopped emailing pictures whereas it had worked properly. Any hints on what to do? Thanks.

Start with something very simple. Quit the mail app and the Photos app and restart the iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the Home Button. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Try again and see if that helped.

Keynote presentation on mini ipad will not email in either keynote or PDF format. It goes through all the steps evn shows it sending but it is never received and doesn't show up in email sent records either.

I have a similar complaint in than there is no record of the email that was denied by the server. I tyed to send a 34mb email of photos with a long explanation of them. It made the sound, i could see it was sending and the it was gone. No record in the send folder, nothing in drafts, just gone. I understand if the server (comcast in my case) was unwilling to send that size file but there should be a warning.
Or better yet an auto draft in the mail app
Any input on this??

This error message usually means the email account does not have an authenticated SMTP or outgoing mail server.
Who is the email account provider, and is the email account provider also your internet service provider at home?
Was this when the iPhone was connected to the internet via an available wi-fi network, or when connected to the internet via your carrier's cellular network?
Are you able to send text only email from the same internet connection to this recipient?

My iPad suddenly quit recognizing my gmail account. When I enter password I get message that it not correct. I tested password on two other devices and it correct. It also did same thing on wife's account but then corrected that today I don't know how. How can I get around this. It has worked for 3 years. Local Apple guy says it has to be Google but my mail works on a Kindle, Acer computer and Samsung phone so it must be an Apple issue. What can I do?

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

The side switch is the key. Depending on your settings, it may affect the mute or it may affect the rotation lock. This support article from Apple provides detail.

In case you're wondering, here is the history. Originally, the mechanical switch affected only the rotation lock and the mute was a software switch elsewhere. In IOS-3, it was changed to be the mute switch and the rotation lock became a software switch. This was done to ensure consistency among IOS devices. Unfortunately, a large quantity of users complained loudly, alleging that they turned the rotation lock on and off several times every hour and the convenience of the mechanical switch is essential. In IOS-4, Apple bowed to the whiners and made the switch function selectable and now we're stuck with a mess.
There have been some problems accessing pages on the Apple web site. If the hyperlink gives you a "We're sorry" message, try again.

Do a factory reset and try again.
If it doesn't work, turn the wireless back on in the 2wire. There is nothing wrong with doing that. Lock it to channel 1 say and the TC to channel 11.
Does the phone now work?
If not the issue is the phone .. the upgrade has killed it... I suggest you take it back to apple for checking.

Mail on my iPad 2, iOS 8.3 suddenly will not download my inbox. I have two other accounts on the same provider (AT&T - Yahoo) with the same settings that work fine. The account will send mail OK. Sometimes it will return an error message "cannot connect to server" after a long time of the spinning wheel. It was doing this just prior to updating iOS 8.3 and still the same after updating.
If I delete the account and re-add it, will I lose all my mail folders, the emails saved in them, contacts, calendar, etc.?
Will a restore recover them at that point?
Any ideas or suggestions?

If you delete the account off the iPad you won't delete the info permanently, although you will delete it off your device. If you delete it off your iPad the data will come back when you re-add it.

Are all your accounts yahoo? If so you may want to read the above posts. There have been issues with yahoo for quite some time now. People have said these fixes work, however I haven't tried any of them since mine is still working.

Try the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down to open the First Aid window.

I set up my emails coming in on my computer so they would appear on my ipad, the only problem I am having is that sometimes my emails are only coming in on my ipad and not on my computer. Until I open them on my ipad they will not appear on my computer.

I have tried resetting it, ive restarted my browser etc. I tried to erase all data from my Ipad but I can't do that because it needs to sign into my Apple ID and use the Internet!

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. IPad 2 will not send email from any app (eg camara, pdf edit apps, evernote ect.) except from my actual email app. It will send email from my email account in the mail app or online. Pls help :-/

I hit the power button and the round button at the same time and held it until it rebooted
You get the black screen and the apple logo
When that was done I want to the app and update screen and I was able to update my apps
I suggest when you update stay on that screen until they all update
I find it sometimes get stuck updating when I leave the screen as they are updating and do other things, but I could be wrong. It just seems to me that is when it happens.
The reboot works and don't worry you don't lose anything when u reboot it's like shutting down a computer and powering it back up. Everything you had before will still be there.

You can easily make FaceTime calls by opening the FaceTime app on your iPhone and entering in the email address and you will see an option for a FaceTime call. You can also create a contact for that person to make it easier if you plan on making frequent calls to them. Take a look at the link below for more information.
