even when no music is on. I have tried to reset it but it contiues to do it. I turn volume down then it does it again and the volume symbol stays on the screen until I press it down once. Any idea how to get this to stop because it doesn't do it all the time but often enough to be annoying. Thanks

Select that region and in the menus clear all automation on that track, sounds like an automation issue.

IPad Charger temperature goes too high

I bought iPad Mini with Retina display recently. I attached a charger properly. After some time when i touched the charger I found its temperature is too high. So I removed and checked USB side of the cable, its temperature was so high that I could not hold it for more than 4-5 seconds. Is there any problem with my charger or this happens with every charger? What should I do?

When I turn my volume up on my ipod it automatically goes down by itself

When i turn the volume up on my ipod touch it automatically goes down by itself...is there anything i can do to fix this, if not i am still under my one year warranty so maybe i can just get it replaced?

I use this formula to reset Admin login password:

From the Apple menu choose System Preferences.

Click the Reset Password button or the Change Password button.
And the change password has me making a new Apple ID. I don't need a new Apple ID. I need a new Admin login so that when I turn on my Macbook I need to login with a password before I can used the Macbook. Amd I asking the wrong question of support?

I am 13 but going into high school next year and possibly an elite boarding school that is 9 hours away from my town. I need to get a mac air for school purposes.How can convince my parents to let me get one?

My house has always had macs and my parents don't like pcs. I don't either. They are slow and so far behind from macs. So i am going into high schoo next year and parents don't let me on the computer without asking and have them all password protected. I did have my own ibook g4 but it broke randomly. My mom says i will isolate myself from too much scree time and get depressed but i love macs and i would like to work in an apple store someday but i'm not even allowed to buy my own ipod touch with my own money. But my mom has an new imac, ipad and iphone and ipod and all of this has been gifts to her. But i really need a computer for school. I have written lists of good reasons not like i want it but good ones and asked nicely but my mom just says because and thats the only reason i need to know. and by the way she is a teacher so she thinks technogly is evil. I really do not want to enter a family discussion about what you should or should not have. If the MBA is to support your school work then you need to present your arguments on that point. If there is a concern about using a Mac when the school supports PCs then point out a Mac can also use Windows on a BootCamp partition so it is fully compatible with both systems.

I have had my iPad 2 since the start of June 2011. There are a lot of times when it works great, but I have had trouble sometimes when I sync. Prior problems were with SQLite3.dll, but got help copying that file to the right place. I have also completely uninstalled and re-installed iTunes. However, my biggest problem is that sometimes when I plug it in to sync with iTunes, it automatically goes to the "Set Up Your iPad" screen. It only allows me to set it up as a new iPad, or restore it from a backup. This is happening more and more. So much so that everytime I plug it in and it actually does work, before disconnecting I will right click on the iPad on the left hand bar and do a backup. This is really starting to get on my nerves. I'm not doing anything out of the ordinary with my iPad. Just playing some games and having a few other apps. It's so hard when playing some games like Angry Birds, getting 3 stars in all levels, only to plug the iPad in again to sync and have to restore it and lose all progress! Does anyone know why it goes to this screen? It doesn't happen all the time, but I'd say once every 4 times I connect. Also, I'm using Windows 7, and yes, all windows updates are done, and iTunes always is on the most up-to-date version. Thanks for any help!

Normally, I would suggest restoring the iPad and uninstall and reinstall iTunes but you have done both of those things - more times than you ever imagined!
Have you thought about turning auto syncing off?
Without connecting your iPad to your laptop, start iTunes. Click on Edit. Click on Preferences. Click on Devices. Check the box next to "Prevent your iPod etc. from automatically syncing." Click OK.
If you do this you can backup the iPad right away before it syncs. You may want to go into all of the iTunes tabs and just make sure that all of the current content on the iPad is selected to sync before you actually do sync.
This doesn't solve the problem, but it would prevent the automatic sync and erasing content. Hopefully, in the next few days- when iOS 5 is released - you will also be relieved of this weird iPad behavior - since the iOS devices are supposed to become PC free.
BTW - and this is no excuse for what you are experiencing, but I have found that some of the game apps that I had on my iPad turned out to be quite troublesome and after I removed them, my problems went away. I know that is almost sacrilege with regard to the Angry Birds addiction .... But I'm just saying ...

This causes problems for me. When I place a single .mbox file into a new folder and import that folder I get the following dialogue:
When I click 'continue' I get a new import folder, but the formatting is a garbled nightmare of seemingly random subdirectories upon subdirectories:
Each of the subdirectories under "ASV" should have just contained messages, not lots of embedded subdirectories. Am I doing something wrong?

HT1947 Remote iPad volume not playing - plays music on iMac instead

I loaded Remote for iPad to my iPad2 and it found my music library through home sharing no problem. However, when I hit play to listen to the music on my ipad the ipad volume is silent (it shows the music time advancing) but the music is playing full volume on my imac instead. WTH? Anyone else encounter this and know how to make a quick fix so I can listen to the music on ipad? I have successfully loaded home sharing to my mac air and listen to music on that computer no problem (without it playing on my imac).

I Have an iPad mini, iOS 8.1. When I'm on my iPad, it keeps going in and out of random apps. Going to settings is the worse. As soon as I click settings and it opens,it starts clicking different things and tries turning on and off settings! In Facebook, profiles and status get clicked. The screen zooms in and out multiple times. It reminds me of when you call the help desk for a computer or a computer at work and they gain access and move around clicking and you're doing nothing. At this point, I would go for reset to its factory default condition, using the iTunes program to get a clean system install. That way you'll clean everything out and just have it set up the way it would come from the factory. You'll need to do your backup (on the iTunes program too) and be sure you understand which stuff will be saved and which will not (from the links below). Also turn off any anti-virus program you may have on your desktop. Then when you reset it to the factory default condition, don't restore your backup just yet ... until you check it out without your data put back on it. Verify its operation first, to make sure that you know it's okay. Hopefully everything is okay at that point, otherwise you'll have to take it into Apple to check it out for any hardware failure.

It looks like you're trying to play a track bought from the iTunes store (or does it happen with other songs too?). Make sure you are logged in with the account the track was bought with.

Settings>General>International.
Set the calendar to "Gregorian". You have it set to Buddhist.
