I am facing a problem with my iphone 5 the screen is flickering.. how to slove this Issue?
Try to reset the device by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data by resetting. If this does not work, set it up as new device, explained here:

My iPhone screen flickers with lines. It turns into a negative or full satiration colours, and crashes then goes black. I replaced my screen this summer after severly cracking the screen. For around 3 months the screen has worked fine after screen replacement. It has been doing this for around 3 weeks now. Do you think he is terminal? Or could it be a loose wire / connection issue?

Katieya so after i updated it. It told me to Link to itunes and it told me to restore my phone so i did and after that i restarted my IPhone and it did the Same thing COLORS and Lines and now all i see on it is a Black screen with a Purple Circle and Lines i think Apple Owes me a New iphone 4

FreshTIf it's an iPhone 4, it's actually quite easy. If it's a 3G or 3Gs, it's a lot more difficult (if not impossible).
As I mentioned, I've seen various other companies that make and sell them. Since it's a component not approved or endorsed by Apple, i'm hesitant to post the link here. Spend a few minutes Googling "replacement iphone back" and similar searches, and you'll find what you are looking for.

I bought an iPhone 5 in New York last December. Now I live in Bogotá, Colombia and I can't find an authorized service center because they said that only if I bought it from a local carrier they attend the warranty.
My iPhone 5 screen is flickering randomly, the phone freezes and the screen turns black… The only way to make it work is to reboot with Home and Lock buttons pressed at the same time. But in the process most of the times it flickers again, and again, and again. I couldn't find a reason to identify what could be causing the issue. Also sometimes when it freezes, some group applications get ungrouped, causing a big mess.
I already tried to restore the phone, remove the SIM, delete all applications with no luck.
Any sugestion? Thanks!Was this phone ever jalbroken?
If restoring as new, without using a backup, didn't help, there is certainly a hardware problem that only replacement can fix. Your warranty is void unless you return to the USA. Short of that, finding a local independent iPhone repair center would be your only option -

Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for $199 for 64 GB 4G and $99 for the other 4Gs. They do not fix yours.

I have a similar problem. I restored my iPhone 5 to the latest available OS. After completing the process the phone never restarted. The phone was fully charged when I restored it but now refuses to charge past the red battery icon. I have been able to get the phone in UFD mode several times and have been able to load the new OS on the phone. The Apple logo does come on and the software fully loads. iTunes tells me the phone will restart but never does. I left it to charge all night but it never appeared to load the battery. This morning I went to the Grand Central Terminal apple store for help. A woman at the store plugged the phone in but it never charged. She absolutely refused to believe that I got my phone in UFD mode and loaded any software on. I don't think it is a battery issue. The only solution I was given was to buy a new phone. Repairing it was out of the question. At this point the phone is completely useless. Thanks in advance for the help.

You should check with your carrier to see if you are eligible for a subsidized iPhone 4. It may cost you the same as the out of warranty replacement for a phone almost 3 generations old. -

Not covered by warranty. If you make an appointment at an Apple store, you will be offered an out of warranty replacement. Cost is US $199 for an iPhone 4S.

My iphone's screen goes black and it behaves like that it is switched off.No switches work and the power button also does not respond.The ringtone do not also respond.The only way to switch on the phone is to press home button and power button together.
Pressing the Home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button together until you see the Apple logo and then release is called a reset.
If no change after a reset, the next step is restoring your iPhone.
