Any & all links in my Gmail account will not open. In order 2 confirm Firefox subscription I had to confirm using Explorer. I just switched Browsers today with much disappointment. I cleared cache and cookies and tried all else I know but no luck.

Hi all, I run IMovie 10.0 on Mavericks. I have done all updates so software should be ok. When I build a project compiled out of music, clips and photo's I end up wanting to share this project. When I selectthe share button it looks like the button works visualy, never the less nothing happens. I do not get the option to choose where to share to, nor do I get any options in relation to resolution I want to share in or anything. Selecting the button does not do anything at all.
Anybody any ideas about how to get to a resolution?

If the basics from the User Guide have all been tried (restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new) and you still have problems, then you've done all the troubleshooting you can do. You'll need to bring your phone into Apple or an authorized service provider in your area.

New Problem with Gmail -- account will not work

All -- I am hopeful that you can help me here as I am about at my wits end with attempting to configure Gmail (of all things!) on my iPhone 4.
This is my 3rd Iphone and I started out by copying over the configuration from my 3G. All of my other email accounts worked great after inserting the password. Gmail gave bad user/password combo error. I tried about 5-6 times...still no joy. Had my wife type the password in to make sure it wasn't just me (nope)...double checked that the password still logged me in to gmail via web on the macbook (yep).
So I deleted the gmail account and started over from both selecting "GMAIL" and "OTHER" from the account type and following all appropriate instructions. I've also changed the password just to make sure there's no weird error with the password. Everything else on the iPhone 4 is working great...but I can't get gmail to work at all. Thoughts?

First time the account was still there.
2nd time the account was gone but after putting in new info the same bad user/password issue occurred.
Incidentally I am able to login to gmail via the web interface on my iphone...
IMAP and POP are both enabled in my gmail account.

I think my gmail was hacked so I changed the password in gmail, and also in my mail on my computer. It didn't seem to take the change, so I deleted the gmail account and set it up again, but now it will not go online.

All of a sudden my Firefox brower will not open correctly. It keeps telling me that it is trying to restore the previous session, but it doesnt' matter if I press the Restore button or the Close button to try again, it will not work. How can I fix this?

After I hit the Close button and try to reopen it tells me that Firefox is currently already running and to either close it or restart my computer. Which I did, and it didn't do anything. Also, when I press the restore button, it will not restore, it just sits there. Please help, I hate Internet Explorer and I don't want to use it longer than I need to.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the files sessionstore.js [2] and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

The newest version... 4 will not completely load my home page and goes "milky"..and will not resolve.

Firefox will access..though the screen goes "Milky" at any attempt to browse. Another browser is working..so this is NOT my computer's problem.

In solving at least part of my own problem I've just discovered that in my just upgraded version 4, at least with Yahoo mail, I find that if I initiate printing an email from the orange upper left "Firefox" drop-down, only page 1 prints. HOWEVER, if I click on the "print" button immediately above the message, the entire message prints properly. Some web sites still only print page 1 because there is no other way than the drop down to access a print dialog box.

I have the exact same problem. When I go to Gmail the page initially loads, but then will be redirected to the calendar page. This is a repeatable error and only started after upgrading to the latest version of Firefox.

After installing the OS 10.10.3 update iTunes will not open. Re-downloading iTunes and re-installing did not help.

After downloading and installing OS 10.10.3 iTunes will not open. Spotlight does not find it. I have repaired permissions, re-downloaded iTunes, and re-installed it. The problem remains. ITunes appears in the directory of Applications, the update shown in the info in Finder. Double clicking does not open it.

I have a mid 2012 MacBook Pro and the hard drive keeps making a clicking noise. The computer is still under warranty. Will it cost anything to be repaired and will all the data on the hardrive be lost?

I just did a software update from Apple for my Mac Book Pro and it crashed severely. Now it will not boot-up. I had the fading down screen with a message saying to hold down the on Button to reboot but it will not, it starts up with the same massage.

You should make sure to correct that as soon as possible. All computers, regardless of make and model, are ticking time bombs. Hard drives can die at any time, leaving you with an inert chunk of metal that may still contain your data, but in a form that is totally inaccessible without paying thousands to a company that will disassemble the drive in a clean room and read what data they can off the platters.
I wonder why should that happen. It was a simple update. Why should an update ruins all my works and my computer...
It is not the update itself, but the fact that you had corruption in your hard drive's data structures, and writing the thousands of files required by the updater worsened that corruption, damaging the system in the process. These problems can be avoided by repairing your hard drive with Disk Utility prior to installing any system update. Most likely, Disk Utility won't find anything to fix, but when it does, you'll be glad you did it before installing the update!
