HT1351 Can my iPod music which is stored on my computer be added to my ipad?

I Have all my music on my laptop can this also be stored on my iPadiPad

Import it into the iTunes library and then sync the iPad with that library. iTunes won't import protected Windows Media content.

How can I transfer music from nano to a new computer?  Old computer is gone.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer files/docs/pics/music/etc.
Use your backup copy to put everything on the new computer.
If for some reason you have failed to backup ( not good), then you can transfer itunes purchases from your ipod.  Without syncing:  File>Transfer Purchases

  • HT4314 Can't see anymore which games my friends are playing, always NONE PLAYED on iPad, wrong/old games on iPhone.

Since about a month I can't see anymore which games my friends are playing.
On the new iPad it always display: last game played, none.
On iPhone it shows wrong games for many.
On both the timeline is correct tough.
I thought it was a temporary thing but now it's more than a month and it's really annoying.
    Any clue?
    Thanks.

How can I transfer music from my iTunes on my computer to my iPhone?

Thanks for the info. For some reason none of the syncing options are working for me. Additionally, I'm unable to drag and drop music to the iphone via iTunes.
It seems that ever since I turned off iTunes Match, my music library has been wonky.
    Frustrating.

  • I would like to be able to download updates for my Iphone and Ipad on my work computer but my home computer has all of my music on Itunes.  How do i downlaod updates at work without deleting all of the music which is stored on my home computer/Itunes?

I would like to be able to download software updates on my Iphone and Ipad at work without erasing my music.  My home computer/Itunes has all of my music saved.  is there a way to use two computers w/o erasing information?  Or can i transfer the music from my Iphone to my work computer?

    - An iPod can only sync with one iTunes library. Yu can however manage music and videos among different computers by:
Using iPhone, iPad, or iPod with multiple computers
    - To change syncing computer, move all the media to compute r#2
    - Connect the iPod to #2 and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
    - Restore the iPod from that backup
Note tha the iPod backup the iTunes makes does not include synced media like apps and music.

  • How can I transfer music from my iPhone to my computer using itunes without syncing?

Got a bit of a dilemma here... I had all my music backed up on my laptop and I usually transferred files using iTunes from there but it got a virus so I had wipe the whole thing out. I lost everything I had there but I had iTunes on my computer, I just didn't have all the files that were on my iPhone on that computer, only on my laptop. Now I want to add music onto my iPhone from my computer but I'll have to sync it, which means loosing half of my music. Is there anyway I can transfer music onto the device without loosing half of the data or is there any way I can transfer the music from iTunes to my computer so that when I sync it, all the music stays there? And if I need a third party transfer tool, which one is the most reliable to avoid viruses again?

    Hello ZabeM
Anything that was purchased can be transferred to your new iTunes library by following the steps in the article below. You can also look at your purchased history and download the tracks to your computer.

  • Can you import music from an itunes from one computer to another?

can you import music from itunes on one computer to another?

There are a number of things you could do. One would be to network the to computers and transfer your iTunes folder from one to another. You can also use your iPod as a hard drive and move the folder with it though that would be considerably slower than computer to computer. Here are a few links that may help you out:

  • I can't here music i down loaded to my computer

why can't i here music i down loaded to my computer?  2 why want my computer tune up?

OK, this is correct. I guess you've set up your aliases in Mail as described in Mail Help's Using .Mac email aliases article. Have you also read the Adding multiple email alias addresses to an account article?
For Mail to let you use the Account popup menu while composing a message, you need to have either more than one mail account or more than one address (aliases) in the Preferences > Accounts > Account Information > Email Address field.
It seems, however, that setting up the aliases for a .Mac account in Mail doesn't always work as expected, and the aliases don't appear in the Email Address field for some reason. Is that what happens in your case? I don't have a .Mac account, so I cannot test this myself.

  • How can I save music that has been sent to me via email on my iPad.?

How can I save music to my iPad that has been sent to me in an email? Please help

You can't save it to the Music app directly on the iPad, you will need to see if there are any third-party music apps in the store that you allow you to copy music from Mail to them. For the Music app then only way to get music into it is via the iTunes store app directly on the iPad and by syncing from your computer's iTunes.

  • ITunes can't locate music I have stored in the iCloud

I am experiencing the following problem. In iTunes some of my "songs" have an exclamation point beside them even though they are stored in the cloud. I see the dialog box that asks if I want to locate the music and I have found if I hit the cancel button, the music suddenly has a cloud icon and starts to play. This is weird, and I'd love to know how to fix this.
    Thanks

Yes, you are correct. The songs are only stored in the iCloud. Which is what I want. I don't want to have all my library sitting on my iMac and in iCloud. Am I missing something?
There are plenty of songs on my hard drive with the iCloud symbol and they play without a problem. I also have some songs sitting on my hard drive. And they aren't a problem. THE PROBLEM is the tracks that have the exclamation mark and will play from the iCloud after I press "Cancel" in the "Locate" dialog box. I hope I'm explaining this clearly....

  • Can The iPod music files by imported back to iTunes To replace missing music files?

My iTunes library is missing many of the files that I have saved. Is there a way to import the files from my iPod back into iTunes to replace the missing original files?

Use the backup of the computer to put the files back.
If no backup exists, the content was purchased iTunes, and you are in the US, they can be redownloaded from the iTunes store.
    Downloading past purchases from iTunes.
