Question? I have an iPod classic 160G and windows Vista OS. When I bought some movies the digital copy was downloaded to PC and when I try to transfer to my iPod iTunes says that itis not supported . Its not all my movies just a few of them. I need help changing the HD movies to SD. HELP?

You can use the Finder app to change the file name but need QuickTime Player "Pro" version ($30) to change the "Title" (the part that shows in the upper portion of the player window).

Change of movie art impossible

I am currently importing my DVDs into iTunes (latest version) - all as *.m4v video. For some of the videos it is not possible to change the movie/cover art. I paste the cover in the information dialog, but after hitting okay the cover is lost and iTunes shows the first picture of the movie - very disappointing.
any suggestions are much appreciated.

try this:
select the movie in iTunes and +get info+. go to the artwork tab, click on the artwork once to highlight it and click delete
+get info+ again on the file. open and copy the image in preview or copy it in safari. go back to iTunes, click into the artwork box once and paste the image. click ok.
alternatively, click add and navigate to the image on your HD.

Lenovo T420 computer - Using Panasonic Camcorder SDR-H100 which produces it's clips in .MOD format(tried changing to MOV - no change) using Elements 11 frames are all squashed - what am I missing? Please help -I can load the clips into windows movie maker and they work fine.

The answer to your question depends on which model JVC camcorder you have.
Here are a few basics:
1. If you have a JVC HD Everio that records in the AVCHD high definition file format (.mts file extension), and you have an Mac with an Intel processor, (sound like you do) running iMovie '08 or '09, then it should be no problem. Simply connect the camcorder via USB and launch iMovie.
2. If you have a slightly older JVC HD Everio that records MPEG2 high definition (.tod file format), then it is easiest if you record in the special 1440CBR mode, and transfer your video to your Mac using an i.Link (Firewire Connection) using the "Playlist Dubbing" process which is explained in your owner's manual.

With iMovie 10 how do I change the movie file size and type.

I have recently upgraded to iMovie 10. It takes some getting used to but I think I will like the new product. After creating my first few movies and trying to upload them to dropbox, it is taking a long time. Comparing the files to ones created in the previous version they are larger, and I need to know how we adjust the file size to the device the movies will be used for. I don't need high resolution files. It looks like you can change the size in file for share but still a large file and only compatible with Mac and PC others are greyed out. Files are much larger than the files generated in the old version.

This is one of the areas where the options have been reduced compared to iMovie 9. If you share to File, you should have Large (540p) and SD (480p) options in addition to the HD ones.
I'm not sure exactly which menu it is where you are finding greyed-out options.
What is the native format of the movie you are saving?
If you can't share directly into the format you want you should be able to post-process the shared file with a third-party app.

There's no "canned" way to control the various elements.
My suggestion is to put on the coffee pot, get started, then reap the benefits of your work.

Is there any way "material movement type" can be changed once its been determined in the delivery, or durin delivery creation (after creating the sales order)
is it possible to override the material movement type creation, (apart from the control which we get by the schedule item category field).
Is there any way to change the material movement type in a deliver document ?

That could be correct. If all the conditions are known at the time of sales order then you can try and use the MV45AFZZ and form to move data into VBEP and move a different schedule line category that has a different movement type. Please check this option and it would work. We used it in a couple of situations in our client here. You need to configure and assign the schedule line category as manual one in the config.

Explained in more detail the stage.
There are 2 companies implemented. Each has several plants. The type of movement 261 has the field GSBER mandatory, because this is required only by one company, or for plants for this company.
The other company (and plants) needs that the field GSBER is not mandatory, so we need to change the type of movement in the case of a plant or another.
For a plant, the type of movement has to have the field GSBER mandatory, while for the other plant, no.

ATV2 How do I change what movies show in preview

Anyone else notice that the ATV2 with 5.0 software shows random movies now in the top preview when it use to show the most recent.
Any idea's on how to change this back to showing the most recently watched or added movies?

Mmmm, my Apple TV's still show the latest movies (date added, not release date), try restarting iTunes and the Apple TV.

How do you change the movie order in iDVD?

I'm doing a video showreel and need to change the running order of movies that I'm using. My menu page lists the 4 movies in a vertical list, which is fine, except I'd like to move the last one up the running order in the menu.
I assumed you'd drag it, but that doesn't work. Can anyone help?

You can drag the sub-item (movies) back into the parent item and it will place the item you dragged into it at the "end" (on the right looking at it in the top-down tree view.) You cannot put the first item on the end, but you can get around this by putting it into a child node and then back into the parent node.

Beware, though, as it has a steep learning curve -- that's why I started with "if you want it bad enough".

Is iPhoto changing my .mov format after importing from iPad?

Or is iTunes changing it while importing?
It seems iPhoto is making movies incompatible with iPad.
My iPad sees and plays my .mov videos directly taken by my canon sd 1400 is. They play in the photos app of my ipad after using the camera kit, and it's great for sharing with friends during a vacation.
The bad news is after ipad uploads these videos and photos to my mac's iPhoto, iPhoto is changing the format (I am guessing) so that the videos can not be uploaded back to the ipad in an album. Why? How can I change or fix this?
I am hoping someone points me to a magic setting in iPhoto that says, "Check this box if you don't want your videos broken with iPad"

The iTunes app on your computer is very strict as to importing videos to the iPad.

Even if your video does follow the above specs. Not all h.264 are created equally to the h.264 standards.
The Camera Connection Kit is not as strict.
I can import videos from my Flip Mino HD camera when using the Camera Connection Kit. When trying to import the same video using iTunes I get the message,'file format no supported.'
The previous iOS 3.x did not support importing Flip videos when using the Camera Connection Kit. I was happy to find that the iOS 4.2.1 upgrade did!!! Now I don't have to buy a new video camera!!!
To answer you question... Use the Camera Connection Kit. It's better than nothing...
